I had no doubt you did it.   Dangerous /Risky Guy!  Psychiatrists say that women in under developed societies seek out stable working men as mates.   While women in developed societies seek out  Dangerous men.

Gooood Morning Macedonia …I am reminded this day as my close friend, a professor of Greek antiquities, always celebrates this day.  On this day in 336 BC Alexander III of Macedon was named King of Macedon on the occasion of his father King Phillip’s assassination.

Alexander III united the Greek City states creating the great Hellenistic period of cultural expansion. Art and war were at its zenith. Glass blowing was invented, Gold and bronze vessels are still in museums and sought by collectors of antiquities. My friend had several.

Alexander III, AKA, Alexander the Great!

GOOOODMOOORRRNING winter in N.  America!   This me a few weeks ago in Red Rock Ash pass high above Las Vegas. But winter is still here across America and Canada.  I was sweating at this point; however, this was the end of our scramble as the snow was deep in the area ahead.

THe sun was warm...I had a jacket ..LOL

We're in the Ruidoso NM mountains on warm days, El Paso when it's cold. 7,000' altitude in the mountains gets cold. El Paso is only about 3,600. About 3hrs drive between the two locations. We spend every winter down here.

NM is pretty..Coming at night over as you crest the mountains  eastbound  on US 40  the lights of Albuquerque  in the distance below  are beautiful.   Spent some time the NRA Whittington Range.  But that is flat .  Prong Horns would stand like statues along the roads...LOL

Snow Shoe Rails to Trails held their annual chicken BBQ event. Food sold out in one hour! (400 dinners) They had a drive through option for those who were not riding.  Weather was warm, but cooled off decently at night. Was good to finally get out camping and riding.

Another great weekend at Snow Shoe Rails to Trails for their annual pig roast. Thursday and Friday nights were quite cool at night. We run a buddy heater in the tent to keep warm. One of our members brought a drone and was able to get some cool video. Ill have to put it together and upload it to Youtube. They were sold out of food by 2:15pm. Trailhead was packed and they had to use two overflow areas for parking. I took a few snapshots from the drone video. One is a railroad viaduct that a few years ago we were able to cross it on our quads. It has been closed for a few years now.

      Hitting the Trail this  Morning.
      3 weeks in a row!
The Wife and I are heading back out to Leota
      http://www.upnorthtrails.org/trails/leota-trail.html
Why Leota you might ask,and not somewhere new?
Cause there are lots of trails to ride, and my old as* has to get familiar with the trails so I do not take a wrong turn.
...and Yes I already took a few wrong turns...getting better tho.

Have A Great and safe weekend everyone!
