Logging Into the Forum

Today we made a slight change with what happens when you log in to QUADCRAZY. Up until now, you were automatically directed upon login to your account page.

Based on some conversations that Admin and I had, along with some of our moderators, we'd like to try something new. Upon logging in, all members will be directed to the forums page, in an effort to increase our member participation. Your account page can be accessed any time by clicking the MY ACCOUNT link in the top menu. We also added a small link to your account page under the forum welcome and last visited block (top of forum).

We're also attaching a poll to this thread for your feedback. Please take a moment to vote and comment in this thread. Thank you.

I think that's a good idea, maybe we'll get some more people joining the forum discussons. When I log in, I usually hit the forum button in the menu, so this just makes it easier for me. Although sometimes I go to the home page to see what's new.

That's not a bad idea, but I would then move the forum topics up on the page.

Maybe we could have a column with recent thread activity and then have all news/updates along with contest info nice and big in the middle of the page.

We moved the announcements section to the top of the forum ad also moved up the contest section.

I think the home page is the best place to be directed, it is easy enough to navigate around from there.
