  1. It's been a long time since I have used a forum, I was the admin of one for quite a few years, had thousands of daily active members, with lots of crazy posts and spammers, so I salute the admins. Anyway, just waving my greasy hands, Hopefully I can help others out.

  2. It wasn't ATV related, it was related to a long running local television show here in Ohio (movie host) and I owned and operated the website/forum, eventually I stepped down and handed the keys away. It was quite a time consuming thing. lol...I used to get calls in the middle of the night from moderators because spammers were posting hundreds of threads. I had enough of that, was fun though.

  3. You might find a manufacturers tag somewhere on the frame that says who it was made by, and it might have some numbers indicating the model. The tags are sometimes on the steering head.

  5. Even if you identify the year and model it's likely you won't be able to get a service manual for it anyway. The body work will be held on by bolts or clips or a combination of the two, and likely some tags that slot into rubber grommets..

  6. It sounds like the float needle has got some dirt or fluff under it. The float needle's seat has an O ring to seal it to the carb body and those can leak too but it shouldn't be the case with a new carb that was ok to start with. Check the drain screw is done up first though if it has one, or check the drain valve if it has one as Dave is suggesting. I'm in New Zealand and I've never seen a drain button. I'd also turn the tap off and run the bowl empty, then turn the tap on and start tapping the carb body fairly hard around where the float needle is with a screwdriver handle.. It may just flush the dirt or wriggle the needle into a better position and it might come right. It works sometimes ! Sounds though like you might need to clean the fuel tank or tap filters or fit an after-market fuel filter.

  7. Sounds like float needle is not closing completely, i wouldnt expect that from a new carb, unless trash or residue from an old fuel line got in there.

  8. The float could be stuck partly open or misadjusted. about the only thing I can think of otherwise is if there is a drain valve on the floatbowl bottom it could be stuck open by a bit of debris if you pushed the button to let a little fuel/ water out.

  9. Aside from the float needle being the sole problem, some trash from the fuel line and fuel tank could have gotten hung up between the needle and the seat causing the needle to keep leaking fuel
