  2. Yeah I saw that 124cm3 on 110's'125's,150's and i did some research on it and this guy brakes it down like this Kzm157mqj number 1 stands for 1 cylinder engine #57 is the millimeter for the piston and he brakes down the lettering also, buggydepot.com and it kind of makes sense, supposedly they use that 124cm3 on all their bikes but some have bigger pistons cause its illegal to bore up quads etc..... and the guy who gave me the quad said that has a 150cc gy6 engine with 3 gears it has a shifter on the right side, but I'll dig more in that engine soon,I'll keep you posted, thanks for all the help.... 4. Haha that’s awesome that you can’t wait to be a quad rider. Good luck with the bike and be sure to go back and re tighten things after a little riding. Screws and bolts have the tendency to loosen up due to some vibration.

  5. @orvilleortiz538 hard to tell what all you have to work with, without being there to check it out myself but there are places to get the parts you need for those things. I had to order parts for a scooter a while back, you just gotta know exactly what you have to get what you need. I got welders and stuff, so i'd probably do mods if was too much of a pain in the as*. Im turning a honda shadow 1100cc bike into a trike 1st, then Im building a front end for it and a longer frame. Eventually itll be a mid engine 2 seater side by side called Frankie. I just like to create monsters! Search google and go to images and see if you can find one that looks like yours, go to the web site and see what info you can dig up. Good luck man!!

  6. Every bike is obviously difrent. If yiur bike is the same as mine which it should be then you should see a gear shifter on the left lower side ? If so it’s all the way down to neutral and up for first, second and so on. Then reverse is when it’s in neutral there is a round knob on the left front plastic under the handle bars. You turn that and hold it while pressing gear shifter down and it will go into reverse.

  7. Thanks @Rick Shropshire It’s a good bike I picked up sitting in a shed. It’s in excellent condition aside from the dirt and a little rust. The last owner put it away due to his age and the bike would not start any longer. Hence the neutral safety switch replacement. I jumped the switch out and the engine runs excellent Honestly I’m 50/50 on keeping it. I guess I will have to see how it turns out and make a decision. But I’m prob leaning in the direction of a 4x4 for him. So I will run it after it’s done for a bit and prob put it up for sale along with a Mojave that I picked up and will be posting soon. Combined sale should leave me more then enough to buy a nice 4x4 for him. Hope your feeling better.

  8. What kind of screw ? Phillips , flat ? 100% metric. About how long is the screw ? And lastly any hardware store has metric screws and bolts so no worries. You can take another screw off the bike that fits that and use it at the store for reference. Or just buy a few different sizes that are close. One of them will fit. Post a pic if you can of the area where the screw goes.
