First Quad...First Project
Stoopidbot1 replied to trailblazer_02's topic in ATV & Off Road Modifications
Sorry TB, you know what I was doing. Were on the same page now. I meant go with just the pipe, FMF is the king of 2 stroke pipes. That and Pro Circuit. -
I would sacrifice a store bought turkey. My luck the live one would jump on my face the second before I hit it resulting in me crashing. The turkey would them submit the photo to his own contest, make a off roader crash, and he would win.

Stoopidbot1 replied to dirtdevil96's topic in General ATV Discussion
Are those owners manual or service manuals? Huge difference. None the less a great link. -
You should have ran it a little bit to see if it did it again. But hey, at least you will get the low down.

The video would be cool but we would have to put a time length on the video. We've got some cool videos but they are like 20 minutes. How about best dressed rider doing the Captain Morgan pose! Or how about best collection of riding gear.

First Quad...First Project
Stoopidbot1 replied to trailblazer_02's topic in ATV & Off Road Modifications
Once again, I think the with the full pipe you would feel less of a gain. Well, what exactly does the kit consist of? -
Yeah that would probably freak me out...you would have to get close enough first!!! HAHAHA

Ah, I know what your talking about. You would see more of a gain from the intake kit. -

Sounds like a great plan! Remember you will have to do some carb adjustments with the new filter. With the outer filter I'm assuming you will run no lid? -
I humbly apologize. I didn't see that you had posted that. GREAT IDEA, TX!!!!!!! :woot:

I usually have to drive 2-3 hours for GOOD riding. There is a spot where I can get my fix about 5 minutes from here but... it is what it is.

Stoopidbot1 replied to jesus_of_nascar_eth's topic in New ATV Products, Reviews & Tests
I didn't move it here because it was atv parts. I thought it would be ok in that other section. Sorry if I was wrong. -
WOW, MWKE you are still alive?!
-
Yeah, the helmet thing! LOL I was doing a big hairpin turn, I was looking where I was gonna go once the turn was done. The pic makes me look like I was looking behind me.
-
The only problem with that is how do you show everyone what a riding spot is like in 1 picture.

Kawasaki Brute Force Oil blowing out near air box
Stoopidbot1 replied to met11's topic in Kawasaki ATV Forum
If it was just the one time, could have been too much oil and it blew some out. You checked the level it was then at normal. Maybe? -

http://www.motosport.com/offroad/product/QUAD-WORKS-POWER-KIT/?catalogId=109654&refine=1&catID=277&pcatID=265&ca%20tName=Intake&srchHistoryURL=kjj33zmx||parentCatego%20ryID~264^superParentCategoryID~category_root^paren%20tCategoryName~ATV^categoryID~265^categoryName~ATV%%2020Parts@vf8xmww8||parentCategoryID~265^categoryID~%20277^categoryName~Intake That's the direct link. Yeah, I'm gonna get one for mine. It's not the filter itself that gives the power. It's just a kit that comes with an air filter, pre-filter, and a jetting kit. Buy them all for cheaper than buying them individually. Do you have an after market pipe? This kit will complete the intake/exhaust setup. Then you use the jet kit to dial in your carb to get the maximum power. You can even run no airbox lid because you will have the pre-filter. Does that help?

aftermarket rev box

Good advise, most of the CDI boxes are plug and play.- 27 replies

Yeah, but I would still test it without the after market rev box. You never know what a faulty box could do. It would be a cheap fix if it is the box rather than replacing the clutch and seeing that it still does it. Eliminate the simple stuff.
-
Welcome to the site, I really don't see how the rev box would cause your tranny to go out. Maybe just bad luck. I would try taking the rev box out, put it back to how it was and try. If your quad runs fine without it, there's your answer. If it does the same thing you know you need to start digging in the tranny.
