These are some shots from this weekend. This is our group doing the "Captain" pose. This my buddy who got his Jeep stuck in this mud hole. These are me showing him how you go through mud!

Is this my warning?:frown: I just think it's funny when people come on and their first post is trying impress everyone. There was some kid on another site that chimed in one day claiming his dad held the world record for speed on a quad, we responded with: so, OK, and... He was never heard from again. I happened to see the screen name on another site and he had people thinking he was god.

I just sent my info to Elka today. So, they should be calling me by Wednesday to verify everything.

I want to try one of the power steering quads.

As far the pink quad, yes. Polaris is the only one I've seen minus the chinese brands.

I think you had you Radar Gun set to KPH. You are full of it. There is a thing called government regulations, so there for your STOCK raptor won't go as fast as you claim. Do you think were dumb? I rode a CR500 at 113MPH. You are NOT hitting 120. And don't try to talk about altitude. I ride in the Rocky Mountains at about 10,000 feet. My quad being jetted correctly gets the same HP that it would at sea level being jetted correctly. Find a site full of dummies and then you can impress them.

I will always signal to on comers. In my group I ride a lot faster than the others. I will stop and wait at any fork in the road or any chance they can go the wrong way. Or I will stop and wait after a good 15 minutes. If it is just me and my girl I always keep her in site.

Enough about Yamaha, He asked about the KFX450. The KFX is a solid machine. One of the only 450s with reverse. If someone else put it on!? It has one of the lowest top speeds but that is due to the gearing. It has amazing acceleration.

WOW, are you trying make enemies? J/K I'm a Honda guy, I like the Raptor, plenty of power. I just don't like the ergonomics of Yamaha's rides. Not comfortable to me. Thanks for the input. I'm like a chick some times. I can't make up my mind even though I said it was. I decided to keep my 450 for a couple more years. I'm having some Elkas built for me!

It is snowing in Colorado today! What the hell:aargh: We are heading up to the mountains today for our bachelor/bachelorete party. We are camping and riding and getting STOOPID with a bunch of our friends. Today the riding will be cold and sloppy. Tomorrow it will be 70 degrees and sunny, I see lots and lots of sloppy mud in our future.

I saw the picture of her and her curly hair, too bad she will lose it. That's just temp. I pray for her and her family often, as a kid I moved to a new town. That's always hard on the little ones, the first person I met there was a girl the same age named Megan. Her and I were best friends for about 3 years until she too was hit with the disease. She did not respond well to treatments and she ended up passing. This story kind of hit home for me. Tom, it is an absolute honor to help you guys(help them) out. Thank you for putting the info out there. If this would had more people who were like you and willing to lend a hand it would be a much better place.

I'm sick of her, the news is driving me nuts. The news here had a 2 part special on where to get the same glasses as her and how much they will cost. As I type they are interviewing a lady who says that Palin changed her life. No by a noble act of kindness, Because the lady kind of looks like her, now the lady is wearing her hair the same as Plain, same glasses and similar clothing. That's why Palin changed her life. She changed styles! AAAARRRRRGGGG!

You should make it a rule to submit the trail/riding area in ALL contest entries.

The trails I ride, a straight axle leaves you falling asleep on the drive home. On any given day of riding I feel like I just did 100 miles balls out. I used to race desert, I know the feeling. The trails are so rough at times that I'm just bouncing my quad from rock to rock. It will either be the 700XX or the Outlaw 525 IRS.
