The trailblazer in know way to be compared to the raptor. What was the point of that?

I actually sat on a KTM and I no longer want one. My knees would get destroyed riding one. There is a small ridge on the gas tank and the shroud below it. VERY uncomfortable. I'm also 6'2"

I'm gonna guess top speed is mid 70's. I know the machine can go faster but a stock machine has gonernment regulations on it.

That's a very nice looking machine. The 4x4 end of the sport is growing on me more and more. Not enough to get rid of the 450 or any other sport for that matter.

The Banshee wasn't running. The class I was racing in was all 450s. I took 2nd out of about 7 or 8. The guy who beat me only beat me by about a quads length. He was not a good rider. Just had a faster machine, the last stretch of the race was a 1/4 mile straight away. He had more in 5th gear.

No we didn't do the dunes. You HAD to have a whip flag.I didn't bring one. So we down to Ferndale and rode the beach and up the Eel River.

I have seen a 400 modded to a 440 with everything under the sun hanging with some lightly modded 450s. The 400ex is based off the XR400. I know a guy that has a XR400 that hits 90mph according to a radar gun.

Unless you get one of the few 450s with reverse, I highly recommend a 400 to a female. Before the girls try and rip my head off let me explain. Have you ever gotten a 450 stuck in some sticky stuff and try to lift the rear end out? Have you ever been on a shelf road that decides to end quickly? It is not that easy to lift the rear end up and turn it 180 degrees. I'm 6'2" even with that leverage on the machine I'm completely winded sometimes after moving it around by hand. That is why I recommend a 400 or something with reverse. Most of the 400s can hang with the 450 until late 3rd gear or early 4th.
