  1. The instruction show connecting the "bright" center brke light to the Right "bright " brake light, S yes it will blink with the Right turn light as wellas when Brakes are applied. I have electric brakes (7pin connector) so i could wire it to the brake circuit...Duh never thought about that...
  2. New replacement trailer lights came with a Center Brake light. That's nice the more who can see my little tail end the better. However following instructions with kit the center light comes on with Brakes very bright, lower illumination with running kights. However, the center light comes on also with the RIGHT turn light and does not come on with left turn.. Any solution to have it : A. Only come on with braking Or B. Come on with left and right turn lights
  3. Well it proves to keep looking. Glad you posted that. Pictures help. Tape wrapped wires keep them together but don't protect much. I prefer point to point wiring as opposed to Printed circuit boards.
  4. Well if it any consolation, They rest of us are impressed with your "stay -with-it"...
  5. Water proofing replacement trailer lights. I sealed the wiring hole in the new lights with "Solarez" epoxy. It is a one part epoxy. It only needs to be exposed to direct sunlight to activate for two (2) minutes to harden. Also I have had this tube and used it several times over last year or so and is remains good when stored for long time.
  6. That is Great information and pictures I hope share the video...Could yo also start by having a picture of you and your ATV (I don't know what you call your ATV)?
  7. Wow I loved the video....The Video scene transitions to still photos were smooth and artsy especially at the end. What camera? Were you holding the camera? I would like to see the picture of you while you were filming the video. Great Job Mike...thanks for sharing!
  8. The tread inserts would, as you say, weaken his Rack. I will stick with the 'U ' bolts. I am away on business but when I get back I'll mount Moose and send pictures.
  9. So Mike a girl could use flush mount thread inserts in the steel Forman rack to have easily removable Moose box.
  10. HMMM...??? nice option
  11. Very nice...Michelle must be carrying a lot of stuff. Great pictures, You always make it easy to understand with your pictures.
  12. I have reinfoced Tygon tubing I can sleeve the 'U' bolts. ...? and then wrap Foreman's metal rack with garden hose or adhesive pads. I have electrical 'rubber tape' . Not electrical tape but the thick tape that is sticky & thick (the tape used to wrap motor lead connections in the motor "Junction box" (To be modest I did not use the term that is normally used by guys).
  13. Should I reinforce the area just below where the seat is with padding.? Also should I mount the Moose so he is as far back on the rack as possible ?
  14. OK...I am trying to Mount him today...So maybe a thinner rubber for protection
  15. Instead of using the entire mat. That wouuld allow the Moose to have clearance between him and the steel rack...Corrrect?
  16. I was thinking about using some of my work out pads under the Moose. They are about an inch thick.
  17. Thank you...The worker bees are all female BTW...LOL
  18. Ok I just got " The Moose" Rear mounted storage / seat ...for Foreman. Love the name "Moose" every football team Had some big lunker guy named Moose...LOL. The case is simple one compartment that will hold two full size helmets. Moose and Foreman Yippeee! The mounting instructions are simple. However, I am thinking I should install some type of padding at the mounting points. I hate things that rattle. Also I should probably mount Moose all the way back on the rack???
  19. I think you are correct...deer don't have as much fear when you are on a vehicle or horse. Hiding your eyes is important...animals identify eyes...Honey bees for example actually recognize people by there eyes / face. Often when I helped a friend with his bees the bees would fly up and move back and forth a few inches from my face. AT that point don't swat at them as they remember and are identifying you.
  20. MIne is an older model I bought used ...it was still in the box. I have an aftermarket trigger. The original Ruger triggers were so so ....I think the Ruger attorneys designed them to be super safe...
  21. Leaves are turning...I like to hunt squirrels after the leaves have fallen...I can see the little B---t--ds easier. But I love my old blot action 23 inch barrel Winchester. However, I have a Ruger 10/22/22 SS...This model has 22 inch barrel. I don't need to move to work the action after the first shot and give away my position for a second shot on another squirrel. Sometimes I will shoot in there chest so I can save the head as I like to eat the brains.
  22. No.I don't operate Xnfmr control Xnfmr in reverse...I have walked in on jobs where maint. guys were trying to by pass Xnfmr with external power (extension cords...LOL) Not realizing there was 480 output. And CVA Xnfmrs don't like extraneous neutrals...seen that a couple times.
  23. Here is a stupid question that has always troubled me. I am most familiar with control transformers; i.e., 480 vac to 120 vac. However, I know that Xfmrs work "both ways" . If i input 120 vac into that Xfmr i will have 480 (nominal) vac output. For that reason i always disconnect bat chargers because i am afraid the charger will drain the battery when I unplug the charger.
  24. The power station is good....Do you have the recharger with station...
  25. The Ignition coil puts out 40K to 50k volts. That being said when I to check for a 460 vac @ 60 hz motor for grounded conditions typically a I would 'Megar ' test by imposing 600 vac through windings to ground. You used 9 vdc to ground and saw a low resistance (Ohms) i expect. I come from a different discipline i guess.
