  1. Last Sunday I went out trail riding with about 12 guys and I brought out the RZR Mask. Pretty much the riding conditions were dusty with some mud and snow in spots. The first part of the trail is what we expected it to be dusty I decided to stay mid pack. The only thing I can honestly say is wow, not once did I eat dust or had my nose fill up with dirt. The second part of the ride had some silt beds with the snow and rocks. The silt beds are usually the worse when not running anything to cover your nose and mouth the mask did what it said it was going to do and never tasted any dust. After riding some 30 plus miles of fast hard riding breathing heavy never did my goggles fog up or did the mask feel uncomfortable, even with my neck being sun burnt. When we started to head back the mask was a little damp from the snow banks and mud holes we hit so I was really interested in seeing how this mask would perform, since we had to go through the silt beds again. Once again the mask did it’s thing and I breathed fine. All in all my honest opinion is this is a great mask and for a small price it’ll be worth having it in your gear bag and for the hardcore trail rider to the racer. I’ll be running this mask when I go to PA in May where they have coal dust finer then the silt beds we hit this weekend, as well as when the flat track season starts and Pike’s Peak in June. Thanks again Josh (RZRMask1) for the mask and giving me this opportunity to do this review. Once I get another Sunday off and couple riding buddies together I am planning on taking this out to the 10 mile desert course and compare it to the other mask, I posted earlier. I do have some tests in mind, but I need to find someone with a video camera so we have evidence of our tests/stupidity.
  2. Maybe I should that way you can smell us out, instead of us looking for you in your dress
  3. I told you all I am come in either extra crispy or pastey white
  4. It was a great day riding today, minus the sun burn i have on my neck and face now.
  5. that landing had to hurt a little with the stock suspension though.
  6. you need to upgrade to a larger throttle body with the higher volume injector to meet the fuel needs of the high comp piston and stage 3 cams.
  7. that's for sure bot!!! I have an idea in my head but I don't know what kind of jersey to put it on. I am assuming it needs to be on something that have a design already on it.
  8. :laugh:ok if you say so nut. I am all for the more riding but you know I don't drink that often and if monster can love donuts and hold the record for pikes peak, why can't I?
  9. thats true bot. the updated the course map so here is what it looks likes now http://director.usacracing.com/ppihc/files/pdfs/map.pdf
  10. After waiting damn near a month for a response, its official on top of page 3 of the competitors list. I am racing this year wish me luck, once that week rolls around I am sure I'll be sharing more along with pics and videos. http://director.usacracing.com/ppihc/files/pdfs/competitor_list.pdf
  11. Yeah me too I have my predictions in my head on how the tests results are going to pan out and the RZR mask is going to spank the other one.
  12. Still one of the best looking V, anti bling for sure.
  13. First off thank you Josh(RZRMask1) for sending me one of these masks I got mine in the mail today:biggrin:. I was so damn excited when I got the mail I forgot to get a pic of it in the packaging of video of it but o-well I guess written will work for now:laugh:. My first impression I am digging it a lot it comes with a small nylon bag to store it the strap on the back of your head sit low enough it doesn't interfere with a helmet. Easy to breath through even with a helmet on, it didn't cause my glasses or goggles to fog when I exhaled:hurrayc:. It did however make the cheek pad a little snug but not by much. I literally took it out of the package strapped it on and grabbed the first helmet in the house, so probably a little adjusting and that'll be cured. Otherwise out of the package seems like a great product not to tight and fits perfect. I did however tell one of my friends I was testing one of these, after he looked at the site, he asked why don't you get one of these with the permanent filters in the mask instead? ATVUtah Shopping. Now due to this second mask emerging what I am thinking of doing is getting ahold of the second mask and doing a side by side comparison video with a series of test for every one to see. Granted that wasn't my intentions when I started this but I figure what the hell, it would be a nice addition to the regular review of the RZR mask. I wanna thank Josh(RZRMask1) again for sending me one of these masks and letting me do this review, I look forward to testing this and I might need to get with you later about some replacement filters later on.
  14. damn, Owell good to have here to bro
  15. I'll be your guinnea pig, I am going out to PA in may and would like to see how these do against the coal dust out there. As well as the dunes and trails here in CO.
  16. yeah it was a blast, but I am going to be upgrading the shocks on the 700 after that trip the landings were not to nice even on the small jumps.
  17. I don't know if this is were I should post this cause technically it could be part of your riding gear but I saw this on another forum site I am on and I figure I would share. I might be adding one in my riding bag. https://www.rzrmasks.com/
  18. Looks good mike it must be from when you first got it judging by the exhaust and no nerfs.
  19. Before my family got into it my dad and I were looking for utilities for him and I to use while hunting. In 06 my dad got a brand new Honda rancher es full time 4x4 which the entire family learned to ride on. While at the track I saw some guys racing some 450s and I was hooked on the sport quads. I bought my 08 kawie april of 2007 one of the first 200 to hit the U.S market and its boomed from there.
  20. Looks good and you can't go wrong with the white and black:biggrin:
  21. Didn't win the last one but I might as well try this one. My friend Chris from PA showing how its done.
  22. To help add to your list if my memory is correct Honda's Rincon and Rancher got FI in 07, I can't remember when the foreman got fi but the foreman was one of the first quads to get power steering. Kawie didn't have fi until they released the 450 in april of 07. The KFX400 and 700 are carb, the brute force 750 got fi in 08. The brute force 650SRA and 650I are still carbed. the LT-R got their fi in 07 or 06 not sure on that one, but I know the early lt400s had kawie 400 engines in them.
  23. Like others have said they both have their advantages and disadvantages. Carbs have been around longer and if you're racing you can fix it easily in the pits. FI is still relatively new to quads and they're pretty much based off of 80's technology to make them simple off the show room floor. But with running motor starts I've seen the opposite as bot most of the fi get off the line faster cause the snappier throttle response. But with that $300 part to make FI work properly and make it what people expect, I bet a FI has the potential of beating a carb quad from a dead engine start. In the end it boils down to what you're comfortable with and what you wanna learn.
  24. I have Jett boots from italy. Not to bad they're a cheaper alternative then sidi's. hinged ankle and not bad once they're broke in but they take a while to break in.
