i dont give crap bout stock thts a whole other ballpark........ those to shouldnt even be compared to each other stock........ with the money to do it i could easily get a 400ex to smoke any 250 anyday of the week

i hate the way tht they sound and for me they just cant take as much as a beating as my 400 and arent near as reliable..........and as far as the 250r goes they r a honda and im a honda kinda guy..... and as far as smokin the only thing tht 250 is gonna be smokin is the oil in its motor:yes:........ enough said

one i dont like 2 strokes they sound like crap....... 400ex all the way....... 450rs just cant keep up with the toughness and built to last body of the 400ex although they r fast

there should be a cap tht u twist off and there is a dipstick on it......make sur the engine is cooled off and take out the dip stick and wipe the oil off........ put it back on and take it off again to check the oil.... if its down towards the low mark put more oil in it

its a good idea and the guy said he noticed a big diff in power with the cooler engine..... good cheap way to fix an over heating problem..... it actually looks like its suppose to be there lol:yes:

as far as keeping ur 400 cooled off goes i did some looking around and found a real cheap way to significantly reduce engine temp.... u might wanna check it out 400EX Extra oil cooler install - ATVConnection.com ATV Enthusiast Community
