  1. i show u wat i did to prepare my tire for paint and the before and after they dont look that great do to first coat but i will put the pics up tomorrow wen their dry with the second coat and on the atv
  2. well i just painted my rims on my 06 can-am will post pics if interested they still need second coat but dont look bad with only one coat
  3. wat happened to the bike did they swamp it
  4. even though i said i might put a snorkel on my atv it was just an idea... and i agree with Raptor8 100% although a bit harsh..i would never ride in any creek the only time i do is when its an inch deep and i have to cross it.. i would surely be pissed if someone started messing in the creek by my house and destroying the creek.. and i only ride in mud pits and on trails the only time i go next to a creek on my atv when we fish
  5. great idea for the forum bot..i dont have it in my bag but a whistle is always good.. an extra spark plug and some tire patches and thats all i got most of the things u got on ur list...
  6. o and congrats on the new atv
  7. Dont use green slime its just a waste of money..in my opinion... fix a flat is good but the problem with that is once u use it u can inflate the tire anymore... u should be fine u can just can some patches at ur auto part store and those should be good.. but the tires on the rincon are 6ply so getting a whole in it would be "kinda" hard to do.. include and extra spark plug and the origional tools that r on the atv should be good enough... def bring a small gas tank just in gase...and a tow rope is another good thing
  8. nice.. he should be careful with that though he could of gotten a lot of water in his tansmission...
  9. i might be adding a snorkel like the one on the mud pro so i can go in the deep water and then 28" outlaws.. then it would be a true mudder but thats gunna have to wait a while....in ur profile their was a Kawasaki brute force is that urs?
  10. i like to mud ride thats what im setting my atv up for
  11. Agreed with everything u said... if u look at all of them its like they pull pieces off other brand atvs and glue it onto a frame
  12. o ok gotch ya
  13. he does have a point warn has great winches but all it is just a name their are plenty of good winches out the for 1/2 the price... and yea the foreman has a solid rear axle with 2 shocks
  14. if i understoof u correctly it is a manuel or standard or u have to switch gears if that is what ur asking
  15. if u want ideas for paint u can use line-x or rustoleum both would be good.. and is u rancher a manuel??
  16. rincon for sure.. the rincon has 500 hours.. how many miles does it have? well if ur interested highlifter selling a 2003 honda rincon for 3900 bucks...if u dont mind paying for shipping http://www.highlifter.com/hl_quads/quad_of_the_month2.aspx
  17. im in the same position as u r right now im trying to get a job as well... thats why i said their r things u can do ith things around r house or really cheap things u can buy at a store
  18. well i recommend cats or something with beefy rear shocks.. cause if your gunna be ridding 2 up i would be cautious with the low ground clearance hondas have especially if your gunna be grossing deep water.. but hondas r tuff sobs and very reliable.. something 350 and above would get you guys around no problem.. r u looking for new or used.. if new i would go with BuckBillys idea but if you want a 4x4 you wont find any new for your price range.. i agree with scott but with the riding u described a 4x4 would be safer for that deep water
  19. their is a bunch of other things you can do to ur atv besides painting your rims that you can easily do at home
  20. lol...well at least you had a winch with you..
  21. if u want to get tires and rims i suggest you do some performance mods as well to keep up with the tires theirs an outlaw superduty clutch kit on High Lifter a bayuo snorkel kit hmf exhaust and a supertrap exhaust just go on the website and search for vehicle info... the clutch kit is one of the best things i could have bought for my cat at 118 bucks i think you would be happy with it...
  22. painting the rims is good idea i painted my stock cat rims with black rustoleum paint..make sure the rim is clean and you also should sand the rim so the paint has something to grip to but use very high grit sand paper u dont want grooves dug into ur rims..... what would you like to o to your atv do you want looks or performance to be first? how much are you willing to spend?? is your rancher efi?
  23. that is nice how did those stock tires handle in the mud?
