Hi,

New to the site so I thought I would drop in and say hello!!! Love the site so far, can't wait to talk to some new people. Really want to hear from the other ladies who are just getting into this like I am!!! Love to hear from those of you with experience as well!!! ;)

Welcome!!! I see you husband rides a LT250R. I just got mine and haven't had it out on the trail yet, I can't wait. Mine is seriously fast too. I just hope I can get used to the manual clutch.

Well I finally got back on after my initial visit to the site seems a little hard to figure out where everything is but I'll get it. anybody else on this site from MD or close to it I also have family in KY so maybe we can hook up & go ridin sometime. I just bought a 2007 kingquad 700 after cracking the crankcase on my vinson so I'm starting the building process all over again. If anyone hears that the vdi is out for my bike please let me know.

Hello to all my fellow riders. I've been on the site for a few days, have posted some pics and just found this thread. I ride a 07 TRX450ER, all black plastics with red powder coated frame. I'm also a member at ATVFAN.COM. Looking foward to meeting some great people.

Hi everyone! I'm new to the site, seems pretty cool so far. I don't own a quad, I own a Yamaha Rhino... It still has four wheels and gets me dirty and is lots of fun! My fiance, Stoopidbot1, however, has a badass quad that I enjoy ridin'. We go out about every weekend to play in the dirt! :)

How's it going over there at ATVFan?

ATVFAN is just like this one, a bunch of cool people who all have a common interest. Thank you very much for the compliment on the pics. My wife and my best friend are some amazing photographers. They just pic a good spot on the side of the track or trail and I do my thing. So actually they thank you. LOL I look foward to meeting new people. I'll post some more pics. By the way, I love the monthly contest!

hi all im keith and my son is joshua he bought a kawasaki ksf 250 the other night and we are new to this as neither of us have ever had a atv before and so are having trouble starting it it has been in storage for about a year now and yesterday we changed the oil and put fresh gas in (it was stored without gas) and so just cant get it started now my cousin says it needs the catb rebuilt is this something we need to look at ? any help would be very usefull thanks keith

First thing I would do is check for spark and do a compression test. If those are ok and it still won't start, then open up the carb and make sure all the fuel passages are clear ie, jets, fuel lines, petcock, and make sure the floats aren't stuck and are properly adjusted.

Hey i know this is a little late for this thread, but i'm new, Stoopidbot invited me here from Atvfan, just wanted to say hey cause i don't know anyone. But i'm having trouble editing my profile, i signed up last night, and it told me i had to check my e-mail to log in, but i haven't got an email. Now when i get on, it lets me post (obviously) and says "welcome Tri-z_ek22" at the top, but i can edit my profile when i go to User Cp, or anything, so whats the deal?

Thanks to everyone, but i'm still having trouble with my user account thing, i can't do anything but post, so idk, when i get to the homepage here, nothing shows that i am logged in, but when i go to the forum, it says "hello tri-z" or whatever, i cannot do anything but post, and i've yet to get an email verification thing, i really need help here!!!

Ok thanks, hoepfully they can help me by tommorow, and i'll get my profile goin good, i sent a thing to the site a minute ago by going to "contact us" at the bottom of the page, i guess we'll see.

Welcome aboard!

You're on Yahoo and there is an issue with some Yahoo members not getting e-mail from QUADCRAZY. You were not getting the sign up e-mail verification causing you to be locked out of the main portion of this site. The forum is allowed instantly. You should be all set now from what I have been told.

We've notified Yahoo to look into it. :yes:

      Greetings to all.  New to the forum, but not to ATVing.  I started when they only had 3 wheels!  Getting back into riding.  Polaris 850.  Too many bells and whistles, but what do you do.  Scouting out places to ride legally now.

      This winter (Dec.) I was plowing and everything just died, just quit.  No lights, no pull start, No nothing.  I've had this problem before and I changed the voltage reg and it ran fine for over a year. Then this.  So I changed it again, thinking this was the same problem.  Tried to start it and a small pin hole in the CDI appeared with electrical smoke.  
      Months go by and I finally decide to just replace parts (I'm Horrible at electrical issues).  I changed the stator, new CDI, new Voltage reg, new starter solenoid, tested the starter (prefect), charged the battery.  
      Went to start it and the solenoid rapidly clicked.  All the dash lights on, headlights work.  Pull stared it and it fired right up no issues.  Looked into the rapidly clicking starter solenoid and it was not enough juice in the battery.  Took the battery completely out and hooked up a jump box to it turned the key, light on, everything looks good.  Pushed the starter button and it fired right up ran great.  Turned it off to test it again, Turned the key and nothing.  No dash lights nothing.  Took the jump box off and pulled started it.  Started it right up.  Re-hooked the jump box, still nothing.
      Any Ideas?
