It's windy as hell here (N.E. Ohio) & I've got branches all over my yard, Including the huge one that fell on my house a few hours ago. No major damage yet but the one on the house is going to be a bit of a challenge getting down without ripping the hell out of my gutters. Hope everyone stays safe out there!!

Everything good here in Frackville. Lots of wind and rain. The power blinked on and off once or twice, but no major outage for me. Hope everyone else is OK. I know south of me in St. Clair and Pottsville there is no power.

We got through it, couple of trees down and no power. Power won't be up for days. Thankfully I bought a generator the last hurricane! Long Island, manhattan, and Connecticut shore lines took allot of flooding. New Jersey got hit the worst I think.

South shore of LI got hit bad. We made it through ok and we are still out of power but Im using my Miller welding machine to power a couple of houses. Alot of downed trees. As of now LI have 800,000 without power.

As of now most gas stations are out of gas. Those that arent have lines up to a half mile now according to the news. Both ports are open now so barges can unload. Problem is refineries are flooded still

2enupeja.jpgI am about a mile and a half from the ocean but we didnt flood badly. About 20 min west of me the whole south shore was underwater... About 8 ft. I had to drain alot of diesel tanks and hydraulic tanks because they were filled with water. There were boats in parking lots and some inside buildings.

The tree photo was the next block over from me. Thats the worst we got in my neighborhood. Alot of uprooted trees on houses. As im writing this about 500,000 on LI still have no power and gas lines are in the mile range now. 35% of the stations have gas.

I have full power internet etc. No gas though... A quarter of the island still has no power. Except for the Rockaways and Lindenhurst and surrounding areas who were underwater, the rest of us are inconvienienced.... To a point, alot have little kids and no heat. This was a pretty bad storm. I think because of the sensationalizing of the past storms making mountains out of mole hills.. The east coast shrugged this storm off and wasnt prepared

I live about 45 minutes north of NYC and we had no power until Thursday night. Had a generator thankfully. Now I have internet but no TV...lol. The big issue is the gas shortage and the lines. My step mother is in Nassau Long Island and she just got power back yesterday. Same deal there no gas. My friends are in Bellmore which is closer to the water on the south shore. They got some flooding. There are some bad hit spots in LI and NJ.

Here are some more pics from the neighborhood. I hope everyone that is hit much harder recovers. There are some sad stories after this storm of people dying, drowning, loosing their homes and posessions. My heart goes out to those people.

So i bought a chinese carb and in messing around still trying to get it to run right i figured id pull the spark plug to see if it was running rich, well it was definitely but also i have a nasty mark on the strap (i think thats what its called) that looks like the piston has been smacking it. I never actually pulled the plug because i had it running for a second on starter fluid when i first bought it and was just stupid and figured whatever was in there was good. The part number on it is DPR7EA, which is similar to what is called out for in the manual but i assume the little bit off that the code is means it must be a bit longer or something. Unless the plugs are made like this, but i can pretty easily see that metal has been pushed away from the area of impact. What are the odds that my piston is trashed now you think? It does still run just not well due to carb issues but thats a whole other problem.

Actually i just took a second to google both plugs and it says the reach is the same its just different resistor values and gap size, so maybe the bigger gap is why its hitting. Either way the actual one for it is on the way and i hope it just didnt do to much damage. Wish i woulda just went over the whole thing like i normally do with this stuff.
