  1. I did check the diagram, was surprised to find no oring. Checked another mikuni I have from a 220 and it didnt either. May have to go with a dab of silicone.

  2. Have you checked that drain screw carb diagram for a washer of any sort ? I find it strange that nothing goes there. You can always add a drop of the high heat silicone and send it in. Be sure to wipe away any left over silicone.

  3. The main reason I’ve experienced in rectifiers going bad is heat! Some people paint them while cleaning up and painting a bike. Also a lot of them are located close to the exhaust and in a place where air flow is limited. The diode inside is the first thing to go and that causes a back flow of current. So it may just be that.

  4. 2013 550 xp, was hard to shift from new. I use Mopar atf+ 4, and motorkote hyper lubricant , Shifts like butter trans stays cool. Also use in rear diff and engine. Rear diff was always very warm. Now with aditive stays cooler to touch . I found ATF+4 to be the best after many other fluid trials. And even without motorkote, was slick shift.

  5. Bump starting won't hurt the valves . The not starting is likely a different problem unrelated to the valves. Have you run a compression check on it and checked for spark?

  6. That looks like something custom that has to be mounted well. Maybe some type for radio or electronics? Most aftermarket saddlebags just mount over the gas tank like the product below:
