Put an aftermarket axle on and you have to tighten the axle nuts about every moto. The only cure for it is an expensive aftermarket locking nut like what you ordered. Keep in mind that everytime you crank on the axle nut that you are putting force on the axle bearing. That will eventually lead to premature bearing wear.

Thanks guys, it is all very exciting!!!

Rabbit Valley is probaby 30 minutes or so from Grand Junction. You take I-70 west towards Utah. When you get to exit 2 get off of 70 and go south across the highway and you are there.

When I get home from work today I will look in the manual and see what I can find...

My pleasure, if you can post a pic of your quad from the front view I can tell just from that.

I have the actual shop manual so I can help you with all the resistance tolerances. But there was no TRX450ER in 2005. Only a TRX450R, I need to know what year you have to help. Is it a kick start quad or electric start?

There was about a 40 mph wind that day, so no dust lingered on the track. Those are Thor Pants but the jersey is a Dynamic Graphics, one off jersey. -

That was one of the most brutal courses I have ever raced, 1 hour and 43 minutes of getting beat up. My hands were bleeding about 1 hour into it. -
Glad to hear it wasn't too serious

Stoopidbot1 replied to Bumblebee400ex's topic in General ATV Discussion
LOL, I meant i was thinking about getting a Kidney Belt. The V3 is an amazing helmet. One of the most comfortable I have used. Rocky Mountain ATV has the V2, which is what I currently race with, on closeout sale for only 99 bucks. -

I'm actually thinking of picking one up. -
The carbs are much more simple to work on. If you want to add a pipe and filter to an EFI quad you have to buy a fuel programmer too. Those run about 300 bucks. I love carbed machines and won't switch. I have the TRX450, I have absolutley nothing negative to say about the machine.
