  1. They are strong machines, I have never heard anything bad about them.
  2. Welcome to the site. We are just a bunch of laid back ATVers, kick up your heels and enjoy!
  3. I'm not advising anyone to break the law, but I would continue to ride it as is. Where do you ride, pubilc trails or private property?
  4. Sorry Bro, you are illegal due to your age. Michigan State Laws: * All riders (operator and passengers) must wear a helmet and eye protection at all times. * All ATVs must be titled. * All ATVs must be registered unless used solely on an operators private land; renewal is once every year. * Children under 16 years old must have a safety training certificate and be under the direct visual supervision of an adult. * No one under 16 may operate a three-wheeled ATV. * No one under 10 may operate an ATV except while performing farm work. * No one under 12 may cross a highway or street on an ATV. * No passengers are allowed on the ATV unless it is designed to carry more than one person. * ATV use on highways is prohibited, except to cross these roads, although operators are permitted to drive on highway shoulders. * No ATV shall be operated without a lighted headlight and taillight from hour after sunset to hour before sunrise.
  5. Welcome to the site!
  6. What size cc motor? The only law you will be facing is due to your age.
  7. One more member and we are at 2500!!!
  8. What kind of budget are you on? What kind of riding do you do? For basic trail riding I would say get an exhaust, aftermarket air filter with the carb jetted correctly. Get a new CDI box that will give you an increased ignition curve and a higher rev limiter. Those things would give you some major gains. As for looks, I don't know what kind of bumpers and such are available for the Ozark but some new rims and tires always give it a sharp new look. Try Plexus Plastic Polish to restore the look of your plastics.
  9. It shouldn't be too hard to get it going. Congrats on the father-son bonding toy.
  10. 10-15 hours for break in. Keep nice CLEAN OIL in it and a CLEAN OIL FILTER along with a CLEAN AIR FILTER and your motor can last for years. I'm going strong on 2 seasons on my TRX450. The 450 motors are very sensitive so take care of it and it will take care of you.
  11. NONONONO! Nothing of mine was stolen. It was my dads garage. They didn't take the bikes. The CR500 is in there and his Kawasaki 1600 street bike.
  12. You were fowling plugs, You can't drop a 2 stroke into low RPMs to lug it up a hill. You have to make that thing SCREAM!
  13. The probably won't. We called all the local pawn shops and gave them serial numbers.
  14. Little Sahara in Oklahoma would probably be the closest to you. (good dunes)
  15. My dad accidentally left his garage door open the other night and someone stole all his craftsman tools and his brand new gas powered pressure washer. Luckily the bikes stayed put.
  16. That was pretty crazy.
  17. Seems like a fair deal, nice looking machine. I think your son will love it.
  18. Nice, Use "Plexus Plastic Polish" The stuff is amazing.
  19. I was kinda wondering about that.
  20. I know that I put 2000 miles on one piston because I did 2 seasons of desert racing in AZ on it. 10 races per season each race 100 miles.(That was on 2 wheels) I can see replacing rings on a race motor. Race motors rarely get broke in "properly" which would lead to needing to replace them that often. I don't ride track so I can't help you on those. Need some trails in Co, I'm your man.
  21. Judging by the pics you're not doing a very good job upholding your image.
  22. There are endless dunes, what kind do you want? Coastal dunes you got the Oregon Coast, never ending desert dunes there is Glamis in So Cal. Giant Razorbacks, Killpecker dunes out side of Rock Springs Wyoming. You want just giant, St. Anthony's in Idaho...I can keep going.
  23. Did you change the rear width or just the front?
