    Oh, I know all about the KTM quads. Which model are you running? 450XC, 525XC, 450SX or the 505SX? I would guess the 525XC but it's not me.

    So can you tell us about the quads you will be riding? Are they stock? Are you meeting the support trucks at certain spots or are they following you? What made you guys want to try this?

    ATTENTION QC MEMBERS: This is one our newest members, he and some buddies are about set out for what I can only call the MECCA of EPIC RIDES. Please show these guys the support they deserve. I made this sticky becuase he has agreed to keep us updated as much as possible. From a check list of stuff to carry in their bags to what they will need in the support trucks. If anyone has any words of encouragement or advise, now is the time to help our brother out!

    So it is pooring out the bottom of the tank, right? That little nozzle coming out of the tank is the petcock valve. There should be a little lever or something you can turn to a horizontal position. Vertical position is open valve and allows gas to run freely. Horizontal will close it. The hose goes back on the little nipple coming out of the tank.

    Is the top end still attached to the bottom end? Is your tranny locked up not letting anything else spin?

    Welcome to the site and congrats on the find! Your clutch cable may be rotted to hell, and you could probably use a clutch rebuild. I'm assuming you changed all the fluids? I'm also going to move your thread into the mechanics section, We have a certified Honda and Yamaha mechanic on our staff. He is the man when it comes to tis stuff. He is Raptor8 and give him a day or so and he will help you.

    I don't have anything special, Just a 2 car garage. Is it mean that I make Kristin park her car in the snow so our toys have enough room?

    I'm going to say that you may have to do some very minor modifications. I'm sure the engine would fit fine as far as mounts, I'm not sure if all the wiring coneectors will be the same. Just curious, how do you put a 400EX in reverse? Is it with the shift lever or is it on the bars? I've never been on a 400 w/ reverse.

    When my hands get cold I will cover my exhaust with my hands for about a minute. Gets the gloves nice and toasty.

    All the stuff I'm packing and shipping is going deep into Mexico/South America. We are sending down 900,000 boxes and each box has 14 gift boxes in it. Each box contains small gifts that most people would consider an insult to receive. Some of these kids that get the boxes have NEVER gotten a gift and they will open the box and take one item and try to give the box back. They can't even comprehend that everything in that box is theirs.

    I'm wondering if maybe there is an air leak around the ressy. When it gets hot some of the vapors are leaking out and that is what you're smelling. (happen on the CR500) This would explain the coolant going down a little and the smell.
