  1. Everything else is as follows. And maybe Mike can verify. Quads must have adequate mufflers. Nothing crazy loud but a performance exhaust would be fine. Helmets and goggles and boots is a must. Any other protection is as you see fit. Take out what you bring in because who wants to ride with trash on the ground. And simply respect the land. It's not ours and who wants to be banned from a place then ruin it for everyone else. Sent from my SM-N920V using Tapatalk
  2. It may very well be spark related. Start it and let it run till it dies. Pull the plug and look at it. Black and wet is rich white and dry is lean. Tan is perfect Sent from my SM-N920V using Tapatalk
  3. I was recommended to fill out the waiver form and bring it on our first day. Your parent has to fill it out for you. Your what? 16? I could be wrong. Sent from my SM-N920V using Tapatalk
  4. I'm booked at the camp site and my waiver is signed for the trails. Like Frank stated, we have been planning for a while. If we get enough people we get a discount. Sent from my SM-N920V using Tapatalk
  5. Check for air leaks. While it's idling spray starting fluid on the intake boot and around the head. If that checks out okay. Clean or replace the air filter. If that doesn't do it. Then adjust your air fuel mixture again. Sent from my SM-N920V using Tapatalk
  6. Lost trails is in dunmore p.a. I'm from N.Y. they have a website for the grounds or just check out YouTube videos. They have some good stuff out there and looks like a blast. Sent from my SM-N920V using Tapatalk
  7. Been completely gone thru and replaced alot of the parts. It runs and drives like it should. Only reason I'm selling it is because, I bought I for my kid and he doesn't know how to behave long enough to keep it for him. Does include a brand new helmet. Size extra small adult. 8. I've been in both worlds from the trails to mx. The 250r is a fun bike. It really depends on what you want. I know my banshee is tough in the trails but hell of a good time wide open in the dunes. But my kfx isn't as good for the dunes but fun in the trails. I have a wife similar to yours. She doesn't ride but supports my decision. I just bring the kid with me. She can't say much then. Lol. Sent from my SM-N920V using Tapatalk
  9. Come on out and ride with us. April 26th to the 28th. Myself and a few friend will be camping and riding. Sent from my SM-N920V using Tapatalk
  10. I know it is possible to live in a tent. Year round too. I do have solar panels for electric and a shower bag that's heated by the sun. Where can one go to do this. I have M.S and can't take this N.Y. crap. I need out. My family won't be coming with me. They are financially set for the rest of their lives. Again. Where can one go that's climate steady and friendly to my disability Sent from my SM-N920V using Tapatalk
  11. A plug chop goes like this. Get a few spark plugs and put them in your pocket along with the socket or wrench. Start your quad and get it warm. Take it for a ride and when your almost to your house, run it full throttle for like 30 seconds to a minute. Then shut it off while your still full throttle. Coast to a stop. Take out the spark plug and look at it. If it's black and wet, then it's to rich. If it's dry and white. It's to lean. Do this a few times to get it really close. Sent from my SM-N920V using Tapatalk
  12. Run a plug chop to confirm your on point with tuning you carb. Sometimes that's the only way to tell. Sent from my SM-N920V using Tapatalk
  13. Do you have a reverse indicator on your dash? If so, wire the light to the indicator. So when you put it reverse. The indicator lights up sending power to the light. Sent from my SM-N920V using Tapatalk
  14. It was bone dry when I got it. I put a little fuel in it and the filter leaked. So I changed that. And all the lines. Sent from my SM-N920V using Tapatalk
  15. Yes. And it's new. I checked pilot and main jets. Identical. I may just one up the main jet. It's really close. But not on wot Sent from my SM-N920V using Tapatalk
  16. Dumb question. My kids quad idles right and revs fine in neutral. Put it in gear with my weight and it backfires. I know to adjust the air fuel mixture but to what? I lean It, it backfires. I richen It, it backfires. And just about everything in between. I'm about to test the stator and coil to see if I'm losing spark. No air leaks anywhere and compression checks out fine. 17. Craigslist. Let go. Offer up to name a few. If you find them cheap enough. Then repair what's broke and either keep it or sell it. Sent from my SM-N920V using Tapatalk
  18. Sometimes the float gets stuck or more junk is still in there. Check the needle for ware on the float. Also where the needle is on the slide where it goes into the bowl, there is a gasket o ring that's on the bottom of the needle seat. Wiring I know how to do. It's easier to do it than explain it. 19. That thing is ridiculous. It's like death on wheels. But kudos who thought of that Sent from my SM-N920V using Tapatalk
  20. No. That s all tight. I had it off the ground shaking it. Sent from my SM-N920V using Tapatalk
  21. The tires aren't square and the chain keeps popping. I feel like it's twisted. But the boy loves it. The machine keeps popping at random. Any idea? Sent from my SM-N920V using Tapatalk
  22. Problem solved. My battery charger is toast. Now for the next mission. The rear swing arm. Sent from my SM-N920V using Tapatalk
  23. Dude. That s pretty sweet. Good invention. Sent from my SM-N920V using Tapatalk
