    hey thats kool... when they pulp wood around here they usually take a tree grinder and chip/grind up all the tops of the trees also .. so its not much left laying around after they get done ..lol

    well its been warm some what here ..and had some rain.. the lakes and ponds are full of water here nw and were about 3 feet low on water as of christmas /new year ..so its been wet here 2 .. and its muddy all over ..lol..

    a friend has 1 with 27 inch mud lites and a 2 inch lift an his wheels are 1 inch dider than stock an it does pretty damn good ..another friend has the prairie 700 and he is running 29 inch tires and aftermarket 2 inch wider wheels and the 2 inch lift with a clutch kit and full exhaust system.. and it screams through the mudd...lol.

    i know all about the prairie bottoming out ..love the power it has ..but it sits a little low for deep ruts ..

    im an atv mechanic and motor builder ..and i change mine about every 2 to 3 tanks of fuel (20 to 25 hours)of ride time ..and i also use rotella 15w-40 in my machines ..its fine to use this on wet clutch machines ...and i also do some racing of several different types with different atv's i own...and with your machine being water cooled you could go just a little longer maybe 30 hours b4 the oil change ... but i would do it at around 20 to 25 hours run time.. yu can buy a small and cheap digital hour meeter and install it on your atv under the seat to make it easyer to keep track of run time ..

    do the valve / rocker adjustment ..and change oil and filter with good quality oil and it should quiet down the ticking ... if not then i would check the cam chain and chain tensioner

    some of thoes carbs had spring loaded needel valves in the carbs and had to have slight pressure to get the fuel into the bowl on the carb..

    its the rockers ...tapping... they are prolly out of adjustment just enought to tap like that ... you might also try some different oil ... an see if that will help..

    i got the crank an top end big bore kit already ... i also bought another complete stock 05 motor ... looking at trans kits now ..and some polished bling parts ...lol..
