  1. Its possible its not firing correctly, check to make sure you are getting correct voltage to your injector, first i would try some Chevron Techron fuel system cleaner just to see if it is partially clogged, i have had good luck with that stuff. If still no go and you have correct voltage i would just replace it they arent that expensive.
  2. No i havent i have mostly done ATVs and Motorcycles and they came with custom fit covers. From the looks of your seats the back should also be a custom fit cover cut and sewed to fit the OEM seat foam, there should be some for sale they just slide over and tied at the back to make it tight.
  3. This is the first i have heard of this i dont see the newer ones very often always considered yamaha of good quality only topped by honda, with suzuki and Kawasaki running neck to neck with them. I know a lot of the newer technology goes bad but engines are very solid, its just finding what new tech devise has failed. Back when you just has an engine, carb and shifter is was generally easy to find the problem with electronics being fairly simple.
  4. It does feel nice out there compared to those 100+ days we have been having.
  5. Excellent, sounds like you are moving right along with no problems.
  6. I have not wired one with LED lights havent really wired one in a while actually, although the last one i did was rathar challenging it was a tilt trailer so i had to leave enough wire for it to tilt, i was afraid the wire would hang down too far and tear loose but i devised a wire holder that would hold the wire in place and allow it to slide through the wire loom when tilted. The wireless lighting would have been good for this one.
  7. I have never had a wiring failure only bulb and socket corrosion but with LED lighting that is probably a thing of the past.
  8. Perfect for that especially if you get one, to haul it out of the woods, but my expierience is they seem to scare the deer away. I always see more deere when i walk in and if you park it close to the stand they dont come close. I dont hunt much anymore so i dont have any recent expieriences.
  9. Nice receiver hitch mounting job.
  10. Interesting, not sure how long i would trust that, but if transmitter stays in the car i guess it would be OK, but im the worst at loosing remotes.
  11. The very top slot is the leanest allowing more of the needle to stick down in the carb restricting gas flow. There is a tool to allow you to adjust carb without removing it. https://www.amazon.com/Camrusic-Adjusting-Carburetor-Adjustment-Snowmobile/dp/B0BQ358K3G/ref=sr_1_6?crid=O7W6CERI8JBR&dib=eyJ2IjoiMSJ9.HbkL_KAKVnM04taEVyr7YO0rL62LGSTMtLAxot_nxf6dL9m3tyFt08og4xOtnB_T4FxZvSPOlSXfroAYW7k6TfPluqB7-exCAxI_mBy2DHsYQFn9QS4ZsazGC44ZNYq7rdTYQICR8qThGutnVsIHhsBg-7oRNq3IxfQjihPdNXG_0kC7uH0FvjjtPoUAE_QjcjQjLoDirXp9xc8CPrpFAfdy1HxUIKT6dkhc-Zl5RMWsC90CqDpTcSFfdbae8wV0Yfu1GOpb7b1A8uokMuqUIgiRjo1SnU61-_13W5mKnKQ.uKo7qioldLi4mXZ1d6S1ooDYssBBtlt2VJWsFGOu_tg&dib_tag=se&keywords=atv+carb+adjusting+screw&qid=1756405930&sprefix=atv+carrb+adjusting+screw%2Caps%2C133&sr=8-6
  12. Yes but there is still crud inside definately needs to be drained and cleaned out dish soap and water or simple green or whatever you have. Petcock needs to be taken apart and cleaned i usually put them in ultrasonic cleaner to vibrate corrosion off the metal surfaces, seals maybe ok if not broken you can soak them in brake fluid to rejuvenate .
  13. Shouldnt be any rust its plastic, petcock is generally cleanable mostly corroson should work fine with new seals, but you can buy a nifty chinese one for less than the OEM seals.
  14. Oh! That might explain the rough running if its been sitting for years no telling what you will find in that carb, if the PO did not use ethynol free gas maybe jelly. Im surprized it started at all.
  15. You sure it was chicken, or just taste like chicken.
  16. Great you got the electrical sorted out and running. Is it smoking badly or why do you think its burning oil.? I would definately do an oil change and check the compression with throttle open and then put oil in the cylinder just a little bit, check again and see if the compression goes up. If it does worn rings.. When oil gets old it gets thinner and contaminated with condensation and possibly gas leaking into sump from poor carb needle seal. Its also possible that the rings may be a little stuck from sitting for a few years and that will get better the more you run it. Generally running rough is fuel and air related not always but the first place to look. Is the the original Mikuni or has it been replaced. I would do a thorough cleaning of carb, which you may have already done, but remove the emulsion tube to make sure its clear, junk seems to grown in there and can only clean it by taking it out. I would check the valve clearances and make sure they are in specs and then run it for a while and see if it gets better.
  17. Peanut porridge original thats an interesting concept.
  18. Most soloenoids have a 30 amp fuse for that reason.
  19. I wouldnt pull it at very high speed like that.
  20. Nothing wrong with doing that the 2 cycle oil just gives the engine a little more top end lubrication while running and that is not enough oil to cause any plug fowling problems. I am assuming that is abbout a 4 gallon tank.
  21. She or He they are tough as nails and i have seen some mighty tough shes in my time.
  22. I use motosport.com and https://www.rockymountainatvmc.com/oem-parts Probably available on Amazon i have bought tires there but not tubes.
  23. You have been busy, Great Work, you came out lucky, a lot of these bikes get neglected so long people just dont want to mess with them and sell thgem for cheap.
  24. Good work finding that, i have seen that so many times people unplug wires troubleshooting and dont pay attention when plugging back together.
  25. The fuse is either inline or attached to the soloenoid.
