  1. Been looking for water proof boots for a while now. Finally found some, made by SIDI(Discovery Rain). Hip,Hip, Hooray ! Has anybody bought these yet, and if so, what do you think of them? You can check them out at SIDI|SIDIBOOTS|SIDI BOOTS
  2. Awesome job on the video, good stuff guys!
  3. mornin' fellers Ya, just wishfull thinking. Hoping for an early spring, like we used to get back in the 80's
  4. Could try taking the starter off and cleaning with brake clean, might be a solution to try before buying a new bendix. Could just be dirty and/or gummed up, and sticking when the engine is cold.
  5. Had this problem before, quad was idleing with the hand warmers on. wasn't generating enough power at idle, drained the battery and lost spark. Jump started and was fine. Was OK with hand warmers on at trail speed. Maybe you drained the battery down with the winch, try charging the battery.
  6. Be a lot of work, but would be a pretty cool project. If you go ahead with it, it would be very interesting to see some pictures of your progress. Would for sure be a one of a kind. Let us know if/when you decide to give it a try.
  7. I've seen a few Can Am sport quads with a bag that mounts to the back of the seat, not sure exactly how they are mounted, but they look like a pretty good idea. They had Can Am printed on the bag so they must be an OEM product.
  8. No problem, glad to help. Let us know how you make out.
  9. Thanks gang, I hope we can all do this in another 44!
  10. mornin' everyone, are we getting spring fever yet, or is it just me!
  11. Well, some good stuff this weekend too. Hansen was dominating in the lights, even though he broke bones in his hand during practice. How about Dungey with a DNF after his chain blew off, allready over 20 points off of the lead, and no points in this one, his chances for the championship have all but evaporated i'd say. Chad Reed has been coming on strong the last couple as well.
  12. You guys watch myth busters, they dedicated a whole show to duct tape! The one that blew me away was like 70 or 80 strands lifted a whole car! Really, what can't you do with duct tape ?
  13. Have you tried going over the dealers head. There should be an AC phone number for complaints, if the complaint is legitament they will contact the dealer themselves. Then watch the dealer jump into action! Good Luck. Arctic Cat complaints line is 218/681-4999. This number should also be found in your warranty information.
  14. mornin' Bio, weather a little better there today ?
  15. As long as there are free services out there, people are going to take advantage of it. If you have a cross to bear, maybe you should take it up with the people who provide the free downloads. That's like saying we should all buy OEM parts for an overinflated price, when there are good quality aftermarket suppliers, who can sell us the same or better parts, for a fraction of the cost. Do the OEM's stop making a part availabile to Joe mechanic, just because an aftermarket supplier has come out with a better idea ? Compitition is what advances technology. If you have no problem throwing your money away, I couldn't care less. But don't try to push your opinions on the rest of us.
  16. I agree, that's why we're looking for service manuals. We are all looking to stretch our dollars as far as possible. So why would we pay for something, if we don't need to ?
  17. maybe we should just go into hybernation with the bears!
  18. mornin' Bio, wow no shortage of the white stuff this year.
  19. Ya and I suppose if people keep getting free advice on the forums we'll run all the mechanics out of business too.
  20. Having the same problem finding a freebe for a Kawasaki KLX 110, let me know if you find a free download site.
  21. How long did it sit? Did you check the air box, maybe a critter moved in and built a nest in there, blocking off your intake of air. Since you said you have fuel and spark, proper air/fuel mixture could be the culpret. A couple summers ago we went camping/quading for a week. When it was time to leave, the truck wouldn't start. Found a squirrel had built a nest on top of the motor and chewed off some wires to the distributor! And it only sat for a week!
