probaly wear twice as fast unless you keep it clean and lubricated and it will tell you in the manual every so many hours.

i would put the bike at TDC and check the valve clearence -
if u drain the gas and nothing is in there try putin fresh gas in and if that dont work take the bowl off the carb and check for dirt or debris but dont mess with anything else unless you know wat your doin make sure to remeber exactly how you tok it apart theres only 4 screws on bottom of bowl

another good tip is go on ebay and buy a manual i recommend chilton but you can also get it on a cd and download it. the manual tells you all this the cd costs around $7

you need to run 93 its the best for it and with you having the bigger tires it will wear out the cv joints and bearings faster especially if you ride in the mud

i checked the timing by lining up the T with the cam arrow and the head. the one bearing locked up so i took that off along with the gear so i have been pull starting it with my other quad.i have spark good compression and just rebuilt the carb. i pulled the flywheel to check that key it was fine. whats the valve lash???? o and on the crank there is an arrow and that lines up with the arrow on the case.

i would say pull the top end and see wat the piston looks like -
try checkin and makin sure theres nothin restricting the air flow make sure the valve is opening all the way

could be dirt in the carb -
well the cdi is a pro rev box the coil is stock from yamaha and the pick up coil is after market off ebay, dont remember the brand and the spark plug is a stock one too...... i have bought like 3 plugs for it but never checked the gap????????

I have a 2005 Yamaha Raptor 350 se i just recently replaced my cdi, coil, spark plug, pick up coil and ever since i replaced this stough i go to pull start the quad and all it wants to do is back fire i checked the timing the bike is in time idk tho i need help
