    when the carb is back together with the same results, do you think it might be the coil breaking down when it gets warm/hot ?

    if you are getting good fuel supply and good spark, i would take a look at the valve lash. could be out just a bit ...

    you will probably have to do that unless there are split boots (like for cars), but i would recommend getting the oem or aftermarket whole/non split boot ...

    i ran into that when i didnt buy an oem stator from yamaha, an aftermarket one said to switch the pick up coil wires. i hope they didnt soak you for a yamaha stator ....

    it cant get to the rear end as far as i know. the crankcase and transmission will contain all the motor oil, and the front and rear diffs will contain gear oil ...
