  6. i have the mud lites, and they are rough on a smooth surface, almost impossible to move the bike with that tread. ive rode a bike with bear claws, and they were great in the dirt and very smooth compared to the lites ... depending if you are going to tear it up, myself, id go with the claws ... JMO
  7. you have to cut the boot band at the top, and there is probably a circlip holding on ... if not, you have to really pull it hard ...
  8. i would say you could put new seals in if you take the cv axles off, and youll be able to check there if you need new bearings. youll need to get new bands for the boots, the drive shaft you said was out and it sounds like you need a new bearing. not the most fun job to do. but take your time and youll save big $$ ...

  11. here in ft mac, we had the rains a week and a half ago, now southern alberta is getting hit hard ... with lots of damage (20 billion worth) and 3-4 dead .... these 2 pics are from ft mac ... these 3 pics are from canmore area - banff area these pics are all from calgary, the saddledome is expected to have water up to the tenth row of seats ... a couple more ... all these pics are on facebook via 2 pages, meanwhile in alberta and fort mcmurray aviation

  13. i do ride the bike and other things, need to clean my carb out now, with the grizz ... and yes, its nice to rest up on the forum and congrats on the explosion of posts on 1 thread :woot:

  18. you shouldnt have 2-3 second wait for spark. maybe a flat spot in coils of stator. my spark was weak blue before i changed stator, then brilliant blue after new one ... what does your spark plug look like grounded out of cylinder while being turned over?
  19. probably the stator. mine did the same thing.
