    Honda unquestionably make a tough atv. that bike looks nice. there are alot of miles on it, but they might be easy miles too. it would be worth looking at for sure.

    We say $hit like that LOL. Check the classifieds or Craigslist for an ATV/bike/4 Wheeler. I would be looking for something like a 500cc and under. Get a name brand, not a Chinese knock off. Year 2000 and newer. Low miles and hours. If you want 4wd, make sure it has the option to go from 2 wheel to 4 at the flick of the switch. Honda is a good workhorse and Yamaha. I'm sure others with voice their opinions here soon enough ...

    is there a hole or crack in the rubber manifold from the carb to the cylinder? if you can get it to idle, spray some quick start around the boot and if it revs high, it might be the boot. maybe the intake valve isnt opening too, or not all the way and back ...

    the carb rebuild is nothing really, clean, blow out carb with air, and replace parts. but it can take a couple times to get it right (cleaning). if you can spare the extra 100$, i would almost go that route because less time consuming and no real friggin around. you might even get lucky just cleaning the carb and not using the kit if everything is cleaned well ...

    might be just a stuck float, or a piece of dirt in the needle and seat. i would take it back to them, better to have them tear the carb apart than you. thats what it sounds like to me ...

    i would leave it, it will drain back down to the bottom end. your exhaust will be quick getting rid of the oil too.

    looking at your pic in your profile, you might want to split that wire harness apart and look at the condition of the wires. it may have been a couple bare wires ... electrical tape will fix the covering you take apart ...
