  1. Welcome!!! I see you husband rides a LT250R. I just got mine and haven't had it out on the trail yet, I can't wait. Mine is seriously fast too. I just hope I can get used to the manual clutch.
  2. Yep that kinda sucks. Hope it all turns out well.
  3. I am trying to setup my page so that you can see the background image. But when I do it ends up like it is now, kinda charcoal grey with lines through it. Please help!!!! Thanks Scott
  4. That sounds great! He'll have it down in no time. My son went from a quad he had to shift to an automatic. I don't know how that will eventually affect him. He wants a manual clutch quad. I just got my first manual clutch one and haven't even gotten it out on the trail yet.
  5. Is that a smiley bottom? That is kinda disturbing.
  6. Good Luck! If you have to do it I hope it is something interesting.
  7. This is limited to Mid and South East but I have found some good information here. I still use it as a resource. atv ride kid for sale at ridemyatv.com This link is now dead. I hate it too because this guy had a great site with some very good information.

  13. Wow I wish I could come but it would be a little more than 10hrs for me. I so want to ride dunes. I hope you guys have a great time.
  14. Looks great man. I too wish there was a closer venue for us. My son would luv to try to race. Quad looks great too.
  15. I hope this doesn't pass. They have been trying legislation for a good while though. It is ashamed that you must fight for activities that you love to do. Yes the CC limit is in place but I wish that the ATV companys would do a better job in sizing the youth quads. I have a son that is 12 now but has been riding for about 3 years. His first quad was a Honda 70 which was technically to many CCs for his age at the time. He quickly out grew this quad. I bought him a Polaris Predator 90 which was CC wise to much for him until this past Oct. But physical size wise is perfect and the 90cc is not to much for him to handle. Now he is suppose to stay at 90cc until he reaches 16 years of age. There is no way he will be able to comfortably ride that Predator 90 till that age. The next size CC wise is probably a 200 or 250 "Brand name companies". That is a big jump. Sorry for the long rant.
  16. I have purchased two atvs from Ebay. The first was for my son a Predator 90. I didn't like purchasing it sight unseen but it turned out ok. I just bought an 88 LT205R. It was listed on Ebay but I actually went and purchased it in person. I have generally had good experience with Ebay though. Scott

    Newbie

Hello, I am new to the Quad Crazy forum. I found the site and it looked very cool. I'm kinda new to the ATV community, I have been riding for about 5 years. Would have started a lot sooner had I known it was so much fun. I am 38 years old, married and have a 12 year old son. My son has been riding for about 3 years. I just recently bought a new to me Suzuki LT250R so now we have enough quads my wife can go. I live in Hendersonville, TN and usually ride Turkey Bay or B&J's both of which are in KY. I recently went to Wooley's Off Road in southern TN and had a blast. I will definetly go back. Looking forward to meeting a lot of you in the Quad Crazy community. Scott
