I used box tubing for the frame work. I had tabs on the frame. But all you need is a piece of flat steel to mount to the bottom of the frame. make a pivot point there. Run the box tubing from there to the plow. Buy a used garden tractor blade. Look how blades are mounted from the dealer to get ideas. I modified mine 4 times before I was happy. I'll try to get some pictures later. I'll start a new thread later.

Nice knowing you Bot!:smackbum: -
I think any project is good. I'm just glad you got the bigger quad you wanted. Of course it sounds good to me. I wish you the best of luck. I have built a snow plow and a yard trailer out of scap steel from work. Makes me pretty happy to see a teenager so eager to do something.

Do you have anybody around there who could make you brackets? A cople flat pieces of steel would work, drill hole to fit. Also heat with torch and bend to fit. The light off E-bay look nice. Can you build a bracket simialar to the one in the picture????

The hotter plug worked on the Ozark have not tried it on the Recon yet.

Personally I think handle bar lights are nice, Depending how high they are mounted a roll over can really tear them up.You might be able to mount a 300ex light on it or a cheap pair of driving lights on it. The lights above are off the warn website. The way most driving lights are made are able to be quick disconnect. Also Autozone and Wal-mat sale universal mounts to. Just a couple of ideas.

Glory days of off roading. -
Look in your owners manual for the idle adjustment. Bump it up a hair and try a hotter plug if you want.

My Ozark will run after a minute in single digits, but our Recon takes over 5 min. I would say it's the nature of the beast. One step hotter plug might help a little.

Is that all it is doing? If it cuts back power and/or you lose 4x4, It needs rest. Belt check every 100 hours Kawasaki set will cause the problems I mentioned. It's a feature they put on some of there quads so you would pay the dealer to work on it! -
TrailBlazer, glad you got your new ride!!!!!!!! I hope it puts a smile on your face that can never be removed.
