  1. lmao it started out a great fun... until I got the QX56 (suv, 4 wheel drive, + mud n snow tires) stuck in about 4feet even had cables on! that car was stuck for 4 days. between work, sick (we also caught the flu for the first time in my life since toddler) and trying to get some sled time in with kids... I was shoveling like it was a work out for 4 damn days. Not too mention ice melt and all that. Between my atv oil leaks/spills, the ice melt (antifreeze) and all .. I have more chemicals in my yard the neighbors will call us The Oblongs come spring heh I finally had to have wife punch it, and pull it with a tow strap - after the 4days of shoveling! Now we are getting crazy rain, melting the snow - mocking my efforts and, hopefully, diluting the chemicals as to not morph and critters to zombies.

  2. I feel like Seinfield or Leno.. without their financial abilities just their motor desires! I still think I'm putting up a 2-story garage with lifts and the works. Wife thinks I'm crazy and in reality if I get a 10x20 shed up, the town will celebrate heh. Because I want them all! Yes your sportsman! If nothing else just to have another toy to play with and swap tires around. Maybe I'll build 3 10x20s and nobody will call me out for permits

  3. I already did a few tubes and there is a chemical process for prep and painting … sounds like a pain in the as*. I'm liking the sound of the overlay and heat process . I will check that out for sure as I'm pretty much down to making it look better ( disappear easier lol )

  4. You have to take the carburetor off of the bike and completely tear it down. You will need a small piece of wire to clean every small port on the carburetor as well as a small can of air to blow out the carburetor ports while your cleaning it. The part of the carburetor that’s probably jammed up is the float and fill needle inside the bowl. Not allowing fuel to get into the engine. Make sure you work on a clean surface and blow every small oraface out of the carburetor. There is also a fuel air mixture screw on the carburetor before you take that out it would be best to count how many turns it is set at from a snug tight position so you put it right back where it was or close to it when your done.

  5. Bought a cheap grinder to overhaul this trailer. The grate deck was busted in the rear and it was showing a lot of rust. Ran the crap out of this grinder to cut off the old deck and grind off the old welds. Then used it to sand the rust off. Grinder never missed a beat. The new deck is HDPE plastic obtained from my former job. I had thought about adding to the sides and front a section of this plastic, but this added weight to the trailer as it was. Mike

  6. Did you check the carb to see if it had both the air screw and the fuel screw? I can't see the air box being a problem unless either the main duct to atmospheric air is severely restricted or the air filter plugged. The amount of air a vent or vacuum line connected to the box would affect would be absolutely minimal . When you move the clip on the slide needle , you should only try one notch at a time up or down at a time from the original setting .

  8. Hi. This may be a off the wall post but here goes. I'm looking at a career change and I'm thinking about getting into the ATV/UTV business. I'm in Eastern Tennessee and off roading is HUGE in this area. The thing is I know nothing about the business itself. Can I sell? Yes; I did some sales work at one time in my career. Manage? Yes; the past 12 years my job has been technical logistics. And for the most part managing technical people all over the country. But I've never owned or operated my own business. I guess some tips on how to get started would be very helpful. Thanks OH< and BTW, I placed this in the Hisun forum because this is the brand is not represented here much. You have the big name dealers (and much higher prices); want to take the trail less traveled.
