  1. believe me my friend I know what they are for. My question was WHY do most of them for sport quads look like a jockstrap ona clothesline? I am CERTAIN we can be more creative, as Speedwerks has done. I was HAPPY to purchase one that didn't look like a high school locker room launcher hahaha. they are getting better, but also more expensive....sup with that? esp with suspension: you guys in the shock absorber biz are gonna get a visit and we will get to the bottom of this. seriously. you guys are overpriced. Raptor8 is out and he's not alone!
  2. "WAS" being the operative word there! LOL:laugh: by the time the video got here there was nothing left but a thong!
  3. Oh dear. that's what happens when you get awakened from sleeping in a culvert. who said that?
  4. oh man, I just ate! you should warn people about this stuff. is that a THONG? [gagging sound goes here] DrtyGrl you better keep an eye on that boy, I think he's stepped over the edge!
  5. wheeler that looks like a PRM. those are good quality!
  6. you never cease to amaze! I'll bet THAT is a handful! like a potato chip in a tornado... I DO like the dive! 9.5, degree of difficulty 10.0! He has the 'what the heck I'm already wet attitude' I love it!
  7. I'm not sure that's a wise idea, I'd like to see it. got any pictures?
  8. I think youre right there, thanks for the refresher! fulltime 4WD is often toed out so it doesn't 'crab' so hard in a tight turn. Your 4x4 PU does it too when the front end is locked. it's actually meant to make the tires last? but that's the theory...
  9. pretty much. there is a variety of cool bumpers for utes..... except for speedwerks and a couple others, they all look the same for sport q's.
  10. Yeah BuckBilly is right: checking the alignment is not part of the dealer assembly or PDI pre delivery inspection. i am unsure about their logic for this but am sure it has to do with the 4 wheel drive. and they WON'T pay for it under warranty. Your tires and the traction surface will make it more noticeable of course. When I changed tires on my 660r, it about threw me off on pavement....turns out it was toed-IN over an inch!!! It didn't know which way to go! You can change the toe on your Hondas with a tape measure and some patience, it's easy. Sorry, refresh my memory: isn't the Foreman the one with full-time 4WD or is that the Rubicon? One required aftermarket parts to make it 2WD, I dont remember which is which. At any rate, I think they toe-out to enhance straight line stability at low speeds- they're not highway rigs of course. It's good you found it. go to 'zero' or toe in like 1/4 inch and see how you like it! Honda did that for a reason but I'm not sure it was a GOOD reason.
  11. Why is it that most of the aftermarket bumpers available for ATVs look like a jockstrap hanging on a clothesline? I mean, come on! It took me months to find one that didnt look like I was riding and drying laundry at the same time..... inquiring minds want to know....
  12. yeah you're right, you can hear the main rotor on the video and he puts his landing gear up- not something one would do when CRASHING hahaha. very clever.
  13. I would access the Stepford CT chamber of commerce - or email Jimmy Kimmel- I'll bet HE knows where it is.... keep us informed OK?
  14. just goes to show ya that the difference between 'hero' and 'zero' is a short trip. Since he's a felon and can't be Obama's bodyguard, he should go to Hollywood. What the world really needs is yet another ' just got out of prison and am now coaching a bunch of kids in [sport goes here.]' movie. What the heck, with all the screwballs in Hollywood, he'll fit right in. oh, maybe Jacko needs a bodyguard and since they EAT dogs in the Middle East, once again he'll fit right in! At any rate, in the future I doubt he'll be doing much with a pig bladder unless he's boiling it for food. WHAT A FOOL
  15. I think what they told you is right all the way. Buy a book or go online and find a parts manual- see what size jet is stock- you sahould go bigger of course with a pipe. Did you try calling DG and see what they say since it is their pipe? They may be able to tell you what to buy. You might try dropping the needle one step and installing a NEW spark plug. watch it closely tho! make sure air filter is clean of course. let us know how it goes! Hang in there, the bunch of us will get you close! Itis a guessing game even when it is right in front of you. If BuckBilly OWNED one, thewn he is the man to listen to first- there is no substitute for hands-on experience.
  16. I think it's doctored. That HIND gunship has all the aerodynamics of a BRICK. It's a big, heavily armored monster- no way could he make a 360 turn and rely on the rotors for lift and he doesn't have the speed for it anyway. hmmm jmho
  17. BUT WE ARE Bot has way more friends than I do......see what he can do for ya, in the meantime I'll keep my ears open OK?
  18. Scott I'll be happy to look around but you are far away. we'll see.
  19. YOU ARE A PROBLEM MY FRIEND! Don't inform the children!!!! LOL BUT THANKS FOR YOUR INTEREST AND THE HISTORY LESSON. i am convinced this is why I now have a '20 minute bladder.' LOL these old bikes had 3 inches of susp, you are aware, and it was hard to make that work! mine had that heavy springer front end which was great in the desert but SUCKED in MX. that's all we thot about back then- mx or desert and I like to go fast so desert was an easy choice even tho Saddleback Park was only 15 miles away. gas was 35.9 remember? mobility was cool..
  20. Thank You! I will do my best for the members and appreciate any help you can offer! Thanx in advance!
  21. hahahaha isn't that the truth "came in last, but I was COOL' hahahaha I've seen it!
  22. hahaha well thanks for that! I prefer 4th and 5th myself, I blame the dust on the tire tread pattern..... OK, if $500 is good for shox then have at em. I don't ride enuf to justify that but YOU do. I'll have to fly in and try it when you get it all done. My old boss at Bend Recreation [the service manager] is a retired USAF pilot, an avid glider freak and an all around nice guy. He used to build Steve McQueen's Harleys and his Dad owned Orange County Cycle in Cali. [big outfit]. In fact, he and his dad prepped the bike that was filmed in the 'the Great Escape' with Steve McQueen NOT riding it most of the time. Here's a guy with some great stories! I'll bet he would fly to Colorado just for the fun of it. As for the dust, there's a trick to it: be the person with the helmetcam and ppl let you go first, even tho the best video is not in front. Winter is fun [no dust] buy a helmetcam and I'll give you a deal on this spare miniDV camcorder I have.
  23. thedn you have a wide range to choose from.....do you like to go fast or plow thru deep snow/mud,etc.
  24. It doesn't say what state you are in, but what does everyone else there ride? I ride my Raptor year around with some serious snow, but your buddies my prefer utilities instead. let us know!
  25. WELCOME blstr86 good to see you! [he's an old friend from bluetraxx days]
