Have you tried to pushstart it? I would try that and see if that gets it to start. Have you checked your battery connections? You could try rocking it, it might be stuck in-between gears and thats why it won't start.

I would say from what you've listed and tried that the cdi is bad or going bad. They are susceptible to heat and seem to act up more once a machine has been running. Other than that you've covered everything I can think of. I guess it could use new rings and possibly a piston if the machine has a lot of miles.
