Thank you everyone for sharing, some pretty cool stories on how people got into quads. I'll reference when I first posted in this topic, back in May 2008! Its crazy how long this community has been online.

2012 John Deere Gator 850i RSX Idle Problem
Ajmboy replied to N00bie's topic in John Deere UTV Forum
Do you have a smoke machine? If not, I would get a cheap one and search for vacuum leaks around the intake. I have one from amazon I use on my cars and stuff like this, works pretty good with baby oil. Amazon Link -
Did they ever get back you? Were you able to get it going?

Did you ever figure this buttoned up? Good video on clutch removal Hisun 550: -
Do you have power at the fuel pump relay?...actually I see you posted that. I would start checking the wiring from the relay to the pump.

2012 John Deere Gator 850i RSX Idle Problem
Ajmboy replied to N00bie's topic in John Deere UTV Forum
My guess is that its at the throttle body and something with the idle air control. Some have separate IAC motors, this looks like its all part of unit. I would also check for vacuum leaks. -
I just looked in downloads and we don't have it added to our library. It would be good to get some of the later model suzuki king quad service manuals. The cheapest out there right now is probably on ebay: https://ebay.us/qklGSB

If you jump the starter and it cranks, the batttery is probably good or ok to turn over. At that point, you may want to check wiring, starting at the ignition switch. My bet is you have a wiring issue or a bad or misaligned neutral safety switch. Is there a neutral light that comes on? Try holding the brake levers down when starting.

What year/model is this? How's the overall shape of the atv?

I’m with you on this, I like forests and public lands. A nice trail that’s scenic. I guess I’m getting older now.. used to like mud and going through water/snow for a more challenging ride.

2024 Presidential Election Discussion Thread
Ajmboy replied to Ajmboy's topic in General Talk - Anything Goes!
Temperature check… looks like it’ll be a Biden vs Trump rematch. The rest of the republicans dropping out and I dom’t think Haley will get past South Carolina, maybe even New Hampshire tomorrow. -
2001 Yamaha Kodiak YFM 400 - Choke lever doesn't stay in position
Ajmboy replied to Starsat's topic in Yamaha ATV Forum
Did you disconnect the choke cable at all or did this just start happening in its own? I would inspect the cable down to the carb as a start. -
I actually just started using Mcdonalds McCafe regular roast and its pretty good. Got it at walmart.

1993 Suzuki King Quad 300 bucks and farts like crazy
Ajmboy replied to hardcastle's topic in Suzuki ATV Forum
I have actually, but I only buy ones with a high level of good reviews. I have found that on more than one occasion where I’ve had a part failure from something purchased on Amazon, I should have read the reviews!
