My girl has only ridden a handfull of times and I think I have already turned her into a dune rat.

anyone play Pure? Its been out for awhile but it has great graphics, bad as* 700 foot jumps and you can mod the sh** out of your quad. I opicked it up at gamestoop for like 8 bucks. IMO its better than any of the mx vs atv atuff I have played.

I'm an elitest...Alienware game station Battlefield Bad Company 2....drooling over 3 coming out in the fall and x-box- trying to beat Dirt 2 so I can buy Dirt 3

I plan on pulling it out when I get time. Not enough hours left till we head to the dunes.

Try to test ride each one and see what fits you best. They all have little quirks. In my opinion honda is bulletproof but not the fastest out of the box. But its pretty cheap to make them fast. With the HRC kit they will hold their own against anything.

any mods done to it? what jets are you running?

without putting a multimeter on it its really impossible to say what the issue is. I cant get the fan to come on with my TRX. It will come on if I jump the sensor to a ground though. Leavign for the dunes in 3 days I just made a quick jumer from the temp sensor wire to ground so the fan runs all the time. It will take longer for it to warm up I guess but thats better then the oposite. I'll pull the sensor after vacation and test it.

I might be in town for a change. Got to pull the flathead blower motor out of my buddys 52 ford. Possibly riding sunday depending how much there is to do around the house.

How wide are you over stock? I was + 1.5 for the last 2 years and rode everywhere. Im + 2" now but havent hit the trails yet

I have learned dealing with ald cars that if its a nut / bolt combo sometimes its easier to crank the impact all the way up and just tighten it until it snaps. If its just a bolt then place a larger bolt over the head of the stuck bolt then weld the crap out of the inside. The heat will break it loose and a larger bolt gives you more meat to work with. Its worked for me on probably 100 bolts on ford flathead heads for 20 years. 65 years of water and antifreeze really gets them stuck and the later flatheads have 24 bolts head bolts.

I messed with it some more and it got worse. I ordered a petcock kit and a carb kit. The petcock doesnt work for crap either. I was told the guy I bought it from rebuilt the carb right before I bought it. maybe not or not right. If I can do 4 barrel holleys Im sure I can do this little single.

could be something really simple like a dirty air filter, something a little harder like a carb issue and even a broken valve spring. Start with the easiest and troubleshoot to the hardest.

I've been wrenching on my quad since Im not really a fan of cold weather. Picked up a full front end from an old race buddy back east for next to nothing. Turns out they are Axis shocks rebuilt in August and OMI +2 arms. Just jumping on it in the garage you can tell its much more plush than the stockers. After a fight with the post office, they finally found my brake lines and I got it all put together on saturday. It was a tight fit but I fabbed some brackets and got it all to work together. Unfortunatly, my Blingstar front bumper that I loved had gotten so smashed in over the last 2 years (I hit trees) that the top would hit the rezzies so it is now a wall hanger and I picked up a new V bumper.

anyone find the race footage? I missed the race and really want to watch it. I say the lites class and watcedh the green #100 block pass a gut right off the track. I'll bet there was a brawl in the pits that night.
