  1. Thats great he is healthy being he is so early. Congrats
  2. If you use a good clear coat, it will last roughly aslong as paint on a car. It can be waxed or buffed aswell. I will get going on this soon and update you guys on the parts I'm doing.
  3. If your 2-stroke isn't smoking, you have some major problems lol.
  4. What Quadnut means, is, if you had an unlimited budget, built both to the max, the 250r will still win...
  5. Uh... No LOL! Get a Saber 500 Cylinder, good porting, PWK or FCR carb, good pipe, you will be smoking banshees and raptors no question...
  6. Jerod... They are suposed to burn oil. And a stock 250r will SMOKE a stock EX...
  7. What sucks about them? They are extremely cheap to rebuild... And they are super fast when built right!
  8. Okay here. 400ex and Warrior motors are the most reliable motors. The YFZR is the best handling quad. TRX250r has the best chassis ever. So in the end for a beautiful reliable quad, you get a Trx400r or a YFZR400r lol.
  9. This is an extremely neat process. Here are a few pics of stuff that I have really ground to be cool that has been hydrodipped...
  10. Oh man! I can't wait to see this beast together! Looks great!
  11. IMO, you'd really like a cam, like an HC3, it really wakes up the 700, and their cheap, and easy to install.
  12. Maybe with a larger carb, good intake, and a good exhaust, and shave 40lbs it might. Chances are slim IMO
  13. Figure this. Sell your 400ex, and use the money that you would put towards the motor. You should have enough to buy a nice 450R. You will have ATLEAST $1500 into the motor, and you could sell your current bike for seems atleast $1800-2000.
  14. IMO, you would be way better off getting a 450r. That kits gonna cost some pretty good money. And it won't be reliable, atleast not like a stock 450r. I don't see that it would be honestly worth it.
  15. Welcome to the club! Woot! Good to see it go to a good home!
  16. Michigan is really fun. Just need to know the good spots and how to get around.
