there are a few kits the involve wet sanding and a few other steps that I thought about trying but for the time and effort might a well get new plastics Unless your going to make your quad street legal or show it, just get some multipurpose cleaner, spray your quad down, hose it off then go onto next ride.

What do you think of my Raptor Body Wrap?
marioweldinginc replied to RuKind007's topic in General Talk - Anything Goes!
How deep can the plastic underneath be scratched before its noticable when wrapped. Meaning I have some nice sized gouges on the front and my rear fenders are wearing down in the area where the backs of my legs touch ( its hard to stop jumping when there are so many jumps available). Is this a concern i should consider? Sent from my SGH-T959V using Tapatalk -

2007 Suzuki King Quad - Need Help Please
marioweldinginc replied to bigmike4's topic in Suzuki ATV Forum
Good point Oxy. With a fully charged battery remove the charger and pos batt cable clip pos meter to battery cable and black meter cable to pos battery post. Make sure everything is off including the key. Set the meter to dc volts and read it. Shop manual should have the draw spec Sent from my SGH-T959V using Tapatalk -

2007 Suzuki King Quad - Need Help Please
marioweldinginc replied to bigmike4's topic in Suzuki ATV Forum
Will it run after it starts without the charger? put a meter across the terminals without the charger on and have the bike running. A reading of 13.2 or higher is preferred. If not check the alternator output. Refer to your shop manual for specific procedure. Not sure if regulator is internal or external but it could be bad or alternator is bad Sent from my SGH-T959V using Tapatalk -

I havent had the experience but of what Ive read so far its not so much of an overheating problem with the motor but alot of the time its the carb getting heatsoaked from the additional heat the motor puts out. A warm carb heats up incoming air and causes the bike to be down on power. Sometimes its confused with overheating. Whether its true or not im not sure but a heatsoaked carb was an absolute nono when I was dragracing back in the day. In between runs we would put bags of ice on the motor and put a box fan on top of that. How to solve this on the trail i havent figured out yet but I will. I have one solution which involves Co2. I need to figure this one out though. So far my cooling tricks involve a fluidyne cooler, spal fan, scoops and maybe a Co2 or water setup. Nitrous is too expensive. Waitin on the motor, cleaning up the frame and plastics, changing all the bearings, collecting 450r shocks and having em revalved, straightening rear axle again. Adding some cooling tricks too! Im hoping all is back together by end of march but now it doesnt look it Sent from my SGH-T959V using Tapatalk
