    We need more info about the bike. Make, model and year for starters. I am going to say its the cdi unit is bad. You need to refer to the shop manual to test if its ok. Check all grounds and make sure there is absolutley no corossion on any single ground. Make sure they are clean and tight. Test your ignition coil to rule that out.     400ex axles are quite strong. If you go with a 250r axle dont forget you need driven sprocket hub and rotor hub for the 250r. Sent from my SGH-T959V using Xparent Blue Tapatalk

    Why wont you put in another 400 axle? From what ive read the splines are different on the hub areas. Most 250r riders seemed to be putting 400ex axles on their bikes. Sent from my SGH-T959V using Xparent Blue Tapatalk

    IMO you get a more consistent burn with efi than you do with a hole thay leaks fuel. Which translates to more miles per tank of gas. i think power is also more consistent with efi. Efi can conform to altitude changes, air temp and humidity on the fly. Moving to NHRA, its a fact that the biggest hp top fuel and funny cars are all injected. In drag racing consistency is key. Top fuel cars are making over 8000hp. I love drag racing loln Now ...id rather have a carb on the trails than efi. I feel safer with a carb being 40 miles from a main road. Until prices of efi drop on atvs and tuners figure out the tricks of efi on atvs, i think atv riders will make more hp with carbs.     alot of cleaning. rerouting the wires, tuck em in closer and out of the way. new swing arm bearings, axle carrier. cleaning the plastics. getting bigger battery cables. cooler fans, air scoops, neautral safety switch delete. flexx bars with rox riser. relocate battery in airbox and lithium 18a/h battery. think thats its for now

    I experienced the same thing on my Honda. The valves were adjusted closer than spec. I put them to spec and the ticking was slightly louder. I didnt ruin anything as my motor is now at 4 Stroke Tech and Mickey said the internals where in great shape

    Someone got bombarded with carb emails??? I want EFI Ive read all I can about carbs but I still dont have the experience to fine tune them. i can get them pretty good but I dont have that knack or patience to adjust carbs EFI
