  1. Help! This hub has been soaking in liquid wrench for two days now. The hub puller in the picture has been on under tension with an impact wrench for 24 hours, removed and re-tightened at least twice in that time. I've tried smacking it from two sides simultaneously with ball peen hammers while under tension and also heating it until the liquid wrench began to smoke also while under tension and it's not budging. Anyone have any advice? Sent from my SM-G920V using Tapatalk
  2. Any sort of chart created to show which hubs fit upon which axle? As in hubs from an 07 fit a 87 but the total width increases by 1" per side, etc. I was hunting down a set of rear hubs to fit on my 1987 YFM350 Moto-4 to get rid of a wobble and read a few pages of search hits here, but other than some comments that many years do fit, I have no real understanding as to what could fit my 1987 or what the effect would be using different hubs. A chart would help then ordering/buying new rims would be easier when offset changes are known in some chart... I am shopping for some rears on eBay, some list the year some do not, the 07 Grizzly ones looked like they would fit but increase the width between bolt stud spacing vs the OEM style and thought a chart would help if one were available...
  3. New problem. I wanted to change the fluid in my front hubs only to find that there wasn't any fluid in them but full of grease instead. Pulled the hub apart and found the hub seals are missing. I ordered Part # 3610019 that was listed for my model. They are too big. They measure 3.258in across and my hubs measure 3.10in. I was baffled. I can only assume that someone in the last 12 years replaced the hubs. They are Polaris hubs though. I have checked through several years and models and all I have seen list the same part number. Anyone have any ideas on this or happen to know a seal part number with that measurement? The rotor hole is the same as the hub. This is a 4x4 with Hilliard Clutch. Thanks for your input.
  4. Hi all, I have just bought a LT-F4WDX 300 and the front hub top ball joint retaining bole thread is stripped. Anyone got any ideas on what I can do? Regards Kevin
  5. Im sending out my rear axle to a driveshaft shop to be straightened and balanced. Upon removing all the axle parts like many others, I too damaged the sprocket hub while pressing it out. My question is ... is the aftermarket aluminum sprocket hub as durable as the factory steel hub? I dont care about its strength as far as its shear rate but i dont want to rebuild the rear constantly if the aluminum splines wear out against the steel axle splines. I do know as far as wear, steel would last longer than aluminum. Question is how much sooner will it wear out? Sent from my SGH-T959V using Xparent Blue Tapatalk
  6. I have a 2003 Polaris Predator 500 & I want to know if the 2005 Predator rear wheel hub will fit it? If not, is there another hub that will fit it. Give me the make & year of the replacement that will work...please.
