We have 3 moderator positions open!

A Mod on that other site is just a member with a purdy name right? Thats pretty much what Raptor8 said. You guys had your Mod powers taken away but got to keep the title, right?

Basically. But don't go around telling that to the members on there, they might get antsy and out of hand (again). I don't really have any powers over there, just the ability to make people listen to me real well.

We appreciate all the nominations and inquiries to fill the positions. This thread will remain open through Wednesday, the 18th, after which we will be looking over the candidates with our current moderators, and assigning the new positions hopefully by next weekend.

Thank you all for your support!

Thanks, but no thanks ;)

I did my share of moderating 10+ lists for over 5 years.

I just want to be an annoying member of the community now! LOL!!!!!

And...I'm lying....I'm helping a friend admin his (our) local riding group's site

so that automatically disqualifies me here.

For you guys throwing your name in the basket that haven't been a moderator before, keep in mind that good moderators can make a forum successful. You will be the person that new members look to for help, and your words here on the forum will take on a stronger meaning than regular members. It will be up to you to keep discussions going while at the same time keeping the peace. I spend probably at least 6 hours a day on the forum where I moderate, and we only have 1/5 the number of members as QC. Good luck guys.

      Hi Guys!

New member and could really use your advice. I would have to believe this has been an issue for others but a search here came up with nothing......? (Probably me not doing search correctly)

      I have an 87 Big Bear 350 YFM350FWT
The OEM Mikuni BTM carb is shot and would rather replace than rebuild.
It is no longer made and I have had good luck with NICHE carbs so I ordered a #K-CRB-0006 This was what they said was replacement when ordered. This Carb only uses 1 Throttle cable. The Slide is linked so it uses one. (OEM had 2nd cable coming through top to move slide)

Problem is when I ordered a replacement Cable from NICHE (#C-CBL-0061) the Cable wire is a little short, not allowing Throttle to return all the way down to Idle position. I called NICHE and they are at a loss. Haven't gotten back to me after 2+ weeks.

What would you recommend other than a carb rebuild?
Can I just use 1 of the OEM cables (It is the right length) and snip/disconnect the other that went to top of Carb for Slide?
      Or ??

Thanks in advance for any advice you have!!

      Dave

I have been exploring all the options available, so many, its hard to choose. I have kind of narrowed it down to the Honda Pilot, Subaru Outback, and Kind of looking at the Outlander, although its a little small,  the new one is nice looking. Just wondering if anyone has any recommendations or gripes with any of these rides. I have driven Jeeps for the past 25  years and they have been great, but their price point has gotten to high. Expieriences good or bad would be helpful. Thanks!

This is something I'm extremely curious about. Has anyone ever attempted to buy a quad (or any other vehicle) from an impound lot? I've always wondered if this could be a bargain, or a waste of time. Google searches do turn up some helpful results. Looks like the state of NJ holds auctions online which I'd be a bit hesitant about.

My online searches haven't really turned up any results of anyone buying an ATV this way. I'd be really curious if anyone tried this, or knows someone who has. I've actually found a couple pages with online auctions for my state, but none had ATVs.

      Hey all!
I'm on a mission to buy my first UTV soundbar as a gift for my dad(a newbie on ATV). I'm aiming for something that offers great sound quality without breaking the bank – my budget is around $250. Right now, I'm considering options like ecoxgear, kemimoto, and boss.
Does anyone have experience with these brands or specific models that you'd recommend? Any advice or suggestions would be super appreciated!

Recently picked up a 1991 Lt230e for repair. Compression is a little low Id say, around 80psi, I also have spark but the spark is odd . When cranking the spark is a constant arc. I’ve got it to sputter but never fully turn on. I believe the spark is my issue, being constant and not detonating at the right time. I’m not sure whether this issue is an electrical fault like some missing ground, a faulty cdi, or a timing issue. Any ideas where I should start?
