  1. I'm hoping so. I have a buyer for my sportsman for $2500 so hopefully I'll have enough cash to invest in a good flip after that one is sold.
  2. this is what I want to flip up to..: https://winstonsalem.craigslist.org/snw/d/elkin-2012-polaris-sportsman-800-efi/6822720008.html
  3. neg. is out haha I asked him if he'd take 3000. If he still has it wednesday, I'm buying it. so its 3200 fixed price.😥
  4. itll probably sell. He said he had a guy out there tomorrow to buy it.
  5. yea. I know its good because he is ok with me going out to look at it.
  6. yep. he wont respond tho. I was looking at this one: https://winstonsalem.craigslist.org/snw/d/turnersburg-polaris-sportsman-570-big/6843000912.html
  7. isnt there some wired in the harness you can short together that engage awd? Have you look up your issue on yt?
  8. not sure- never worked much on a honda other than a recon and Rubicon I'm kinda confused about what your question is?
  9. dont be scared of it- that was my problem- get used to it and test its limits- then you can enjoy riding fast safely. thats how I get used to riding a different bike- take it slow and spin a couple doughnuts to get used to the tip-over limit and feel out the brakes and throttle- then rip!
  10. what kind of tires you got on there? I know the rims haha had those same rims on my bayou before I sold it.. I love bighorns and how fast will that thing go?
  11. and if something wasnt put back right, I would check it out before riding as you might cause more damage if something is flying around in there lol
  12. very interesting! I didnt know that just a small amount of play could cause loss of compression. I would have been interested to know what caused the valve clearance to change.....enough to lose compression
  13. yea thats what I was thinking- my only concern is that I would just run into too many problems on some of the bikes.
  14. so I'm looking at these bikes- wondering if I could fix them up without busting my budget- he wants 1200 for all. Anyone know the best way to find replacement plastics for older bikes? https://roanoke.craigslist.org/snw/d/glade-hill-8-various-atvs-sold-together/6821680782.html
  15. This thread is for asking advice on buying an atv(s): Post a link to the listing and ask questions...
  16. hey I should get a little atv like a 150cc or something to rip around
  17. its an 05 sportsman and its worth $700 tops in VA. Polaris will not let you down. I will say that arctic cat is reliable too though- I would go either way- Polaris has better performance.
  18. oooh gotcha. Thanks! will keep this in mind as I work on more bikes!
  19. Haha well you can have it for $100 if you come get it! As for giving parts away to other members here- I'm kinda tight on the budget (broke) right now- otherwise, I'd love to give atvs away and just fix them for free... I just love working on them..
  20. ok. I will take that advice- and also, I did come across a bayou 220 that could have used a new airbox hose and I used to have one- then I returned it so I didnt have it... So the carb is not for sale unless you give me a good price on it (like $100 hehe) thanks @Frank Angerano
  21. Also got a oem carb for that bike that has been cleaned, but leaks out of the overflow on the bowl. asking $50 for the eom carb (it is ready to go- just needs adjusted and it leaks) Got the foot guards off the bayou- the buyer said he didnt want them, so I would sell them for $20. Pics are below: The stock tires: 24x11 rear, 22x8 front. have over 50% tread, fronts a little more worn than the rears. Asking $100 must come pick up
