When I was like 16 years old, I had a couple of freind that had quads. King Quad 300 I think, with the lever shifts, is what was the beast back then. Some Hondas and some ATCs I remember. Never had money to get into the sport at that time. I was able to get my frist quad at age 24, a 1987 yamaha warrior. Used of course. My first NEW quad came a few years later and it was a 2002 Kawasaki Bayou 220 Then I bought a 2004 Yamaha Kodiak 450. Finally I bought a 2005 Suzuki King Quad.

I'm not sure there is any resource online for this. You could check with DMV in your state or any insurance agent in your state. Have them run the vin #. You could check the stolen atv website and search by serial# or type of quad: Search - Stolen ATV

Good point! I like the one on ATV Fan, I think something similar where people can enter their trails by state.

Anyone doing anything crazy for the extended weekend? Traveling or have gas prices got you down.... We're going down to Washington DC to see some family... Have a happy and safe weekend!

Did people get into the chat yesterday? If you are going to set up a time to chat, keep in mind that people may be in different time zones. Someone's 4:30 in California isn't the same time as someone's 4:30 in New York.

Does anyone use other sites that have trail sections or databases of trails? I'd like to see something here for trails by state, search, etc. What does everyone think?
