    I guess it depends on the kid . I was doing stupid stuff on my bike then my dad bought me a dirt bike when I was 10. I`ve been hurt and keep on riding ! Now Im old and still riding and getting hurt still lol I would recommened a safety course !! But probably on something smaller JMO

    Whats wrong with it ? Those motors are not hard to fix . Any replacement motor could have more issues than the 1 u have !
