  4. you would probably do better buying a k&n filter, cutting the airbox open some, and taking the spark arrester out of your stock exhaust system ... im sure you would notice some more snap ... what bike is this, a warrior? what year?
  5. my buddys big red had a bad battery but would kick start and run fine. thinking you could do a test on the stator and pick up coil, but not sure how easy it is with the cdi ... i would pull all the connections and clean and grease them ... could be that simple too ...
  6. does your neutral light come on ok ... was just thinking of other possibilities with the spark ...

  8. if it was black, it didnt burn or too rich. so yes makes sense being weak ...
  9. i think it will work in a weak way ... i would check regulator, but i think stator might be toast, or just the pick up coil ...

  12. i would check if you are getting gas and spark, then check electrical connections ...
  13. make sure the battery is fully charged and let the fuel system "cycle" itself before you start it ... take a paperclip and insert the 2 ends into the diagnostic plug and turn key on ... that should display a code to narrow down the search

  15. did you try any starter fluid? i would almost think it might be a bad wire or connection somewhere too ...
  16. i had front drums seized on an early bronco, left the torch on each one a good half hour and smacking it with a sledge thinking they wouldnt come off, but heat does wonders and once it breaks, its cake walk ...
  17. leave it on it for 5-10 minutes in a good spot. have a smoke, give it a hit ... should come off ...
  18. ive always used a plumbers torch (propane) and heated it up good and with a good smack of the hammer ... but be careful with the smack part, drums do break, but they take alot too ...
  19. coil ??? get a volt meter and test the regulator/recifier too ...

  21. it says left side, but didnt say sitting on the bike, but i think the wiring runs down that side (sitting) ...
