    i would turn the key on but not start, and listen to the fuel pump cycle up. i think youre machine is electronic fuel injection. if you dont hear anything, check the fuses

    if you go to ATV Frame and Chassis Accessories | Rocky Mountain ATV/MC and see the particular brand you are talking about, you can put in the Honda or Yamaha specs and click on what other machine these fit ... i did a 2005 Honda and it fits a 2005 Yamaha ... but you have to look to make sure ...

    i would pull the spark plug and make sure you have spark, i think you do because the carb spray almost started it, then i would pull the fuel supply hose and make sure you are getting gas. check too that the kill switch isnt on and the bike is in neutral ...

    ok, i remember seeing the spouts back there now ... i wonder if it has a sock around the pump and its dirty or, if the pump has to be working to get the fuel out ...

    do you have a fuel cock on the tank ? there is an off, reserve, and on position. if it has one, the two screws can be taken out, be mindful of the rubber gasket, and you pull it staraight out and be careful of the screens ... you can clean the screens ...

    if you pull the plug back out, you could get the piston to the top of the cylinder head, and might be able to see with a flashlight if anything is in there, or use a magnet to fish anything out ...
