I think he means the Mudlite SP. Those are made for sport quads. They have an 11" tire. Why not ask him to use those instead. Sent from my SGH-T989 using Xparent Blue Tapatalk 2

Stay away from 4 Stroke Tech

As per Diggin the assembly was backwards. I did not see the asembly at that point. Maybe he was thinking of another motor or I heard wrong. Well its broken in, running and making gobs of torque. Im not sure what else there is to say about it. I'll report back if it grenades so you can laugh and say you told me so. Sent from my SGH-T989 using Xparent Blue Tapatalk 2 -

With the test and tune this thing rips!! Holy sh**. Ive only ridden it on the street but had to go back to a 15t sprocket!! Not happy with the oil cooler mounting though. Maybe it will hold up. I put a couple of extra ties on it. I will admit what Mickey lacks in personality he makes up for it with this kit. Its a quick bike.!! Next time please dont take your anger out on a motor as a couple of my motor internals where given the ol 5lb sledge it looks like. I had the crank assembly taken apart and turned around as it was assembled backwards. I also thank you for keeping all the hardware/internals organized and not dumped into a couple of zip lock bags oh wait. Time will tell if this kit holds up. I had Diggin start it and test it so he can shut it down if needed before any damage was done. I do hope what was sent to me was in fact what I paid for. But for now it did breathe new life into my tired machine. Thank you all and good day! Sent from my SGH-T989 using Xparent Blue Tapatalk 2 -

2004 Honda 400ex - Axle Bearings? Rear End?
marioweldinginc replied to rexy1989's topic in Honda ATV Forum
Its possible the bearings are seized. Put tje bike in neutral and lift up the rear tires. Try to spin em. If its tight disconnect the chain. Spin em again if its tight its the bearings if it spins freely its probably a clutch issue. Sent from my SGH-T989 using Xparent Blue Tapatalk 2 -

2003 Honda 400EX neutral light inop
marioweldinginc replied to marioweldinginc's topic in Honda ATV Forum
Quad is primed and all set for engine breakin. Neutral light works now. Went through all the wiring again. Maybe a connector wasnt pushed in fully. Not sure :-) In a couple of days she will be trail worthy again! Sent from my SGH-T989 using Xparent Blue Tapatalk 2 -
2003 Honda 400EX neutral light inop
marioweldinginc replied to marioweldinginc's topic in Honda ATV Forum
Verified diode is ok. Now what? I checked all connections and made sure all connections where properly color coded. A couple where iffy but seem correct. Will recheck in the a.m. Tomorrow all the plastics go on, fresh 94 octane in the tank, a recheck of all connections and fasteners, then oil and prime the motor. Then gets dropped off at Diggin for the breakin, test and tune. Maybe he knows whats with the light. Sent from my SGH-T989 using Xparent Blue Tapatalk 2 -
2003 Honda 400EX neutral light inop

Yes no change with the wire connected together or apart. Sent from my SGH-T989 using Xparent Blue Tapatalk 2 -
Starting to put my Ex back together since i got the motor back. Most of its together. Everyone who reads this I have attached a copy of the electrical diagram so you can play along. I reinstalled the wiring harness. The only modification I did to that harness was to bypass the clutch switch so it will start with out the clutch lever. I have high beams, low beams and taillight. I can also hear the starter relay click when I hit the start button. I verified that the starter will turn. I can only do it VERY briefly as there is NO OIL in the motor. I just held the button for a split second, probably faster than that. The starter did engage. What i dont have is the neutral indicator light. I verified that the indicater light does work when 12v is applied to it. I am unsure of the condition of the diode inline with the neutral light. I only have a Powerprobe. If you dont know what that is google it. Its very handy. I did verify that I have 12v at each terminal on of the light (Black wire and Light green with a red tracer) whcih really puzzled me. that leads me to believe that its the diode. I also verified that the neutral switch itself does work (physically and electrically) and I see the neutral arm move inside the motor when I shift to neutral. I didnt try to press the switch with it hooked up to see if i get a light. I cant verify anything because I cant start the quad yet so Im guessing right now. I dont think that this problem will prevent the quad from running. The neutral light harness does go into the regulator which worries me. I would rather the light works as I dont want to chase problems later on. Looking at the diagram what am I missing??????

Yes I agree with Oxy. My 86 Moto4 200 has an adjustment for the autoclutch . Its by the foot brake. Like Oxy said its a slotted screw with a jamnut on it. Dont adjust more than a few degrees at a time. You can burn up the clutches if you adjust it too much. I ran 10-30 in my moto4 for years. I was misinformed. I switched to 4 stroke oil and it made quite a difference in the shifting and engagment. Sent from my SGH-T989 using Xparent Blue Tapatalk 2
