  5. Good idea when winching to throw a coat (prefer leather) over the winch cable in bout the cent. Being if the cable breaks, it helps the cable not snap back.
  6. Wife on her 300. We always carry while out riding trails. Me on the 400 Had a good time out riding this weekend with my wife, so ready for more weekends like this one.
  7. Full on gear with the exception of chest protectors, everyone behind me has them on though

  9. Welcome to QC. There are so many choices in machines, research what is going to suit your needs. Sit on all of them too, there has to be a certain feel.
  10. Plastic is a difficult one, I use Bully Dog adhesion promoter prior to primer. A light coat and let it tack up and go to town with the primer coat.

  14. We ofter haul 3 machines on the trailer and at time 3 piggybacked in the back of the truck. As long as fuel is shut off and propelry strapped you are good to go.

  16. When I made the transition from 2 wheels to 4 in the mid 80's and put my feet down coming to a stop and broke both ankles on my first quad ride.

  18. Good question. Same pad backing. Old pad have no facing left so measuring the facing is out of the question.
  19. So on the 94 300EX rear pads I am having some issues.... Pins and lock tabs out, check. Back off e-brake, check. Caliper mounting bolts out, check. Pads out, check. Clean around piston area and use small c-clamp to push piston in, check. Install new pads and clean, lubricated pad pins with lock, check. Install caliper on mount, NADA, not gonna happen. Even with the piston all the way in there is NO WAY that the rotor is going to fit between the pads.. WTH??? Any suggestions? I feel like I am :beatdeadhorse5c:. No way should I have spent this much time on a stinking set of pads.. Thanks in advance. Eric
  20. +1 for a dirty carb. How long has it been since ridden? Possible water in the tank?
