My hubby has an I-Phone. I hate it! it is fun to play games on but as a phone it sux!

I think of the blackberry's as the most reliable..even though I don't have one, they have just been around the longest for data phones.

Infamous iPhone....that's just the best damn cell phone on the market...too bad it's only AT&T.

Agreed, I had the iPhone for 8 months. The phone is great, AT&T's service sucks. Dropped calls, failed calls, and dropped voicemails. Called them for over a month to try to resolve with no avail. Apple even went as far as replacing the phone. AT&T finally admitted they just don't have the capacity on the towers. Since i use my phone for both home and work, I was forced to break the contract and go back to Verizon. I now have the Droid Eris.

AT&T would not budge on allowing me out of the contract, they don't guarantee service!

Our service out here is bad for everyone. But what makes me mad is that if anything touches the bottom speaker he can't hear it ring, and sometimes when he tries to ansewer it, it frezzes just long enough to miss the call.

so we have the first ever I-Pager, its gona make millions!!! . . . pissed off! LOL.

Scott...How's that Pre? Did you update to WebOS 1.4 with the video camera feature?

Yeah and I was at home from having surgery and had not taken my patches from Preware off and thought it was really going to screw it up. I was able to just reinstall them and they worked. It has been working ok since the upgrade except I have some missed calls sometimes that never show up.

I actually was getting some weird behavior after he upgrade, so I doctored it up to 1.4 and it worked much better. I reinstalled preware after. If you are getting weird behavior and slow response, use the WebOS Doctor. Are you on precentral forum?

Its alright. Not as user friendly as the iPhone, but it does have features and capabilities that the iPhone doesn't have. Plus the camera is 5 MP. (and shoots video) One good feature is it allows tethering which AT&T was supposed to have last year.

It just takes some time to get used to its features, most of the apps I had on the iPhone are available on the Eris. Still use the iPhone for podcasts but once I get the software set up right I won't need the iPhone anymore and I can sell it.

Oh and the coverage is far better then AT&T and no more dropped calls or missed voicemails.

I'm with Sprint, have been for 10 year+.

I have the HTC EVO phone. Would not change for anything, this phone rocks.

Even for the new HTC EVO Shift??? LOL... I'm with Sprint 15 years and using a Palm Pre still. I'm pissed that Sprint has no new Palm hardware, which may make me move carriers down the road.

very interesting...

"It's possible this will leave an opening for Microsoft. Because it's been close to dormant in mobile software for several years, its Windows Phone 7 and Windows 7-on-tablet systems will essentially be unified across devices, offering simplicity and predictability to a huge user base that already lives in the company's computing universe.

Just like Apple. But Apple's still the king"

Hi all. I have a timberwolf 250 2nd that will not start.. I thought it was out of time bc the guy I got it from said it just quit on him. The tensioner had a nut welded to it and it was like2 teeth off. I installed new tensioner and chain and it still will not start. It has fire and it will not hit off brake cleaner. It has compression. Haven't put a gauge but I'm sure it will crank and run with what it has. I double checked my work and it's still in time. Spot on. Both valves move. I'm about to put a feeler gauge on them and I'll cone back but other than that any ideas?

      Background,
This winter (Dec.) I was plowing and everything just died, just quit.  No lights, no pull start, No nothing.  I've had this problem before and I changed the voltage reg and it ran fine for over a year. Then this.  So I changed it again, thinking this was the same problem.  Tried to start it and a small pin hole in the CDI appeared with electrical smoke.
Months go by and I finally decide to just replace parts (I'm Horrible at electrical issues).  I changed the stator, new CDI, new Voltage reg, new starter solenoid, tested the starter (prefect), charged the battery.
Went to start it and the solenoid rapidly clicked.  All the dash lights on, headlights work.  Pull stared it and it fired right up no issues.  Looked into the rapidly clicking starter solenoid and it was not enough juice in the battery.  Took the battery completely out and hooked up a jump box to it turned the key, light on, everything looks good.  Pushed the starter button and it fired right up ran great.  Turned it off to test it again, Turned the key and nothing.  No dash lights nothing.  Took the jump box off and pulled started it.  Started it right up.  Re-hooked the jump box, still nothing.
      Any Ideas?

I'm currently working on an 04 Suzuki Eiger 400 and ran into some issues. Main issue being it's really hard to start. Once I get it started, it runs bad. Sounds like it's missing, which I'm pretty sure is an idle issue. It's not my 4 wheeler. I'm working on it for a buddy. Someone started working on the original carb and 2 jets were missing when I got it to work on.
So, I ordered a new carb. To get it to run, I had to adjust the throttle screw on the handle bar almost all of the way out. Even doing that, it still sounds like it's bogging down and missing.
I did put a gas filter on it, which I'm questioning whether or not that's the issue and it's not getting enough gas like it should. The petcock only has an On, Reserve, and Prime option. It also has 2 ports. I guess I have the hoses hooked up right. There's no way to shut the gas off completely, and also it looks like there's no gas getting thru unless I run it on Prime. Reserve drips gas. I'm going to take it apart today and clean it. I'm also going to take the jets I need out of the new carb and put in the old one.
I don't know what all this person did you the 4 wheeler before I got it. There's odds and ends missing that I've noticed so far. What else can I try or look for? What could be the gas issue with the carb and petcock? The carb was completely off the bike except hanging onto the throttle cable. The diagram I found for the carb doesn't help me with hose placements. Any help, or questions would be appreciated. I can attach photos if it would be of help.

I like to ride in wooded and grassy areas. It takes my mind off the everyday routines and helps me deal with my father's cancer. Also gives me a reason to get involved with forums like this one.
