  1. umm, I wear a 9 in women's shoes, I ordered a 9 in the men's Thor Quadrant boot and it fits perfect!!!
  2. ...got info Bot! Just another bit of advice....before riding, always test the chain to make sure it's not too tight/too loose...our friend just bought a '08 YFZ450, and didn't check the quad over before he took it to a race....the chain was too loose, popped off the sprocket, broke his case, shifting shaft, and it took gears out of the motor...so, after paying for a brand new quad, he had to turn around and pay $600 in labor to get it fixed (warranty only covered parts).
  3. that works for me....but only on the forums that I post to after I mark not to get them....if someone posts in a forum that I posted in before I changed it, I still get notifications:aargh:
  4. bahahaha. it's the same way for me with my honey........... when he ripped past me during the race in the woods Sunday while I was stuck in the mud bad, I was like damn that's hot:biggrin:
  5. yeah, KTM comes with the best set up, not having to do many mods to make it race ready...or like any mods.. but to choose between the other brands, Honda has my <3 !!!! And you don't have to buy a brand new quad to have a good one either, mine's actually a 2000....it was barely rode before, nearly brand new, although its now 8 years old....I changed the exhaust, bumper, nerf bars and got out on the track...over the past year I've done some more......just got an EZ pull clutch for it, and a steering stabalizer... But none the less, good article to post Bot!
  6. I can wear the Vision Shirt/Gloves...not the pants, yet...maybe by the end of the summer I can... So I run the Recreation Gear pants...I get the Basic Black...but they have a bunch of other designs to choose from...and the sizes go up to 20!!!!!! That is by far the biggest sizes I've seen any company make in girl's gear!!! Hope that helps ya FoxChick They really are a great company!!!!
  7. yeah no kidden....and you can find cheaper mods than what they used, and still have the same quality... like the nerf bars and even the rims....beadlocks are great to have, but I think I'd choose to skip the beadlocks, find a cheaper set of nerfs, take that money and get a good exhaust... you might even be able to find a cheaper bumper....obviously they've never shopped on eBay:laugh:
  8. you're still cool. i'm just cooler. cause i did it first:biggrin::laugh:
  9. yupppers...basically, as with most racing, even GNCC harescramble racing...unless your a pro, you're not making money...however companies do sponsor the "little guys"... LIKE ME So, If I continue to do well, I can get more sponsorships...which is usually discounts/free stuff.... So you're not winning money, but you can still race, and you're not spending as much money.... Hope that helps?! I've raced both MX and Harescrambles...MX you get trophies mainly, Harescrambles you get plaques...
  10. baaaaaaaaaahahahaha no kidden.
  11. looks like fun!!!! where is that?
  12. here's a good laugh for ya'll.... I've been getting to drive our 05 F-250 Powerstroke because it's saving us some money in gas...anyways, my honey got home before me yesterday so when I was on my way home I called him to tell him to meet me outside... I just wanted him to see how cute I look driving the big rig:biggrin:
  13. wow. If my husbands in the bathroom for more than like 10 minutes, I'm knocking on the door to ask if he's ok... that's just not normal......
  14. Girlyz has some awesome gear....check this out: http://www.girlyz.com/ride-gear-pants-checker-p-144.html http://www.girlyz.com/ride-gear-pants-lucky-stripe-p-141.html They're both red pants....and they make sizes up to a 20! I know, cause I have a hard tiem finding things to fit comfortably....I wear about a 13 in regular pants, but for some reason the size 13 riding pants are too tight...so I get the Rec pants from Girlyz and order a size bigger:biggrin:
  15. yeahhh no kidden lady? we've missed YOU!
  16. ohhhh I know what you both are talking about.. the husby used to have a KTM 125SX.....I kinda miss the smell of it in the air when we'd ride....:confused:but I love my 4 strokerrrrrrrrrrrrrrr:yes:
  17. that msg. was way back in the day. lots of ladies have posted now :)
  18. thanks everyone I'm soo excited and honored. I feel like I just won a gold medal at the Olympics or something....
  19. wow you guys make yourselves sound really old lol. anyways....a quad: 450r with reverse, a rekluse clutch, itp gncc holeshots, drd exhaust, black, silver and pink body/frame/graphics kit, with a nasty PRM bumper and back steel grab bar so anyone who decides to "bump" me can eat it:laugh:
  20. haha, me tooooooooooooooooo! I'm glad I'm not alone in this.
  21. i think my next ride's goin to be the power wheels....the barbie powerwheels.... screw the trx....the jeeps hotter:laugh:
  22. I LOVE the idea....250's are great for people who want to ride but don't want a lot of power...but, it looks like if what Bot is saying, they'll have almost as much power as a 450....I wonder how my 400ex power falls into the mix...anyone happen to know off the top of their head? That's something I've never searched for.
  23. we're like one big disfunctional family on here:wink: and...I don't know too much about the quad you have, but I do know that with some quads, like my 400ex, you can use the same parts on a 2000, that you can use on a 2008... with that in mind, I found on Rocky Mountain ATV/MC that they have parts for 1988 models and newer....maybe that helps?
  24. yes sir-ee I do but I mostly post off of what's recently been posted.
