  1. Yes i'm going to post it as soon as i know its a good product and works well.
  2. It's pretty straight forward and not a big deal finding the sizes. And if anything is too long just throw a nut on it and cut it to size and back the nut off to clean up the edges maybe even file it down a hair. 12mm & 10mm make up most of the sizes.
  3. Welcome to Quadcrazy @erthsole.
  4. Lol yes that to.
  5. Good idea on the air filter and the brand is good. Heres a set of nuts and bolts I have used in the past. Its been great since i have used it over many projects but its $98.00. Mine has paid for itself already but there are smaller sets available. Metric Class 8.8 Hex Cap Flange Frame Bolts & Flange Nuts Assortment Kit - 429 Pieces! https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01LYF0OHX/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_AQDdEb7RZ6D8D
  6. Man i wish i had all that stuff. Im starting to think i need more room. I think i have to move my personal bikes to another location leaving me more room to work. The bike lift is great and allows me to spin the bike around but its tight in there. Im sure you will get there in time.
  7. You will, we have faith in you brother. Have you been doing any research on parts or looking at the manual?
  8. So i got what i wanted to get done and a little more. The clear coat works great and it's definitely flexible. However I'm hell bent on and close to having a process to restore plastics like new without any paint or clear coat or chemicals. Gotta wrap this one up and get it gone asap but I'm going to get me some old plastics (Where not sure) and going to have at it. I plan on recording the process and share. Its going to happen this year !
  9. Well thats a good thing.
  10. Happy new year @Arizona hope all is well. Nice work on the engine. Let is know how it goes.
  11. Looking at the numbers on the dash 9,8 etc it looks like they were work horses. But they are durable and hearty so I'm sure you'll get a few bikes out of all of them.
  12. Thank you @Jim Denton
  13. Thats great, your going to love it.
  14. Thats great. Be sure to post some pics. I try to get together with some members for a ride that are relatively close maybe in PA we go to lost trails but open to traveling so if you are interested in getting together check the forum calendar and also look into the NY riders group forum as well.
  15. Had a little time to get back at it today! Its coming along nice.
  16. I would have paid the exact same price. I don't use facebook but my buddy sent it to me so i was actually going to reach out but I'm happy i didn't and more happier you have it and are now a member of Quadcrazy! So good luck and welcome aboard! Im working on the same bike now also with a plow tyts going to a friend.
  17. Holy cow i was going to look at that bike. Face book market in the kingston area he was asking $2000 correct ? That was a good price for that bike, hopefully you got him down even lower ? Small freaking world. Adirondacks is real nice, big deer up there. I have a place in Cairo and we are up there a lot, riding, hunting etc.
  18. Todays plan is to get the rear plastic complete and reassembled! Stay tuned.....
  19. Happy new year. I figured as much with the display and electrical issues but it sounds like your making good progress.
  20. You can clean it but it may be better to replace it at this point. At some point they start to break apart and thats a bad thing should any pieces get sucked into the carburetor.
  21. Thats great, sounds like a good bike. Maybe post a few pics of the atv. What part of NY are you from?
  22. Whats up @Skhot K welcome to Quadcrazy! Your going to find a ton of stuff here that will help you out and just shoot the sh**! 2001 400, good bike. What condition is it in? Running ?
  23. Well done @Dra O great job on the custom tools. And the positive comments!
  24. Lol thank you. Its simply a water sand with a super fine grit so the clear coat has something to stick to. The clear coat has a flexible component in it should the plastics bend which they will. So we will see how they hold up.
