  1. Im a rebuild guy! Oem is the best choice in my experience. Maybe its just my luck but ive never been able to get the off brand especially Chinese carbs to work right.
  2. If the bolt is broke and still in place what im trying to say is you can extract the broken part and simply put a new bolt in. Thats what an ez out does.
  3. Give these a shot. Ive had some luck with em. Screw Extractor, [Upgraded Version][5 Pieces] Diyife Stripped Screw Remover, Damaged Screw Bolt Extractor Set, Speed Out Drill Bits Guide Set for Broken or Damaged Screws Made from H.S.S. 4341#, Gold https://www.amazon.ca/dp/B07D3N7NFP/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_WrvaEbGED4G7C
  4. Anything's possible but you would spend just as much In miscellanies parts into modifying it. Might as well buy the head from ebay. If you can successfully drill the center of the broken bolt out you can get a deep easy out in there. Heat it up a little and spin it out. When you were drilling the head did it get damaged ?
  5. There was on for sale way back that i think i told you about. I reached out to him after i saw your post and it was gone already. is there any chance of drilling the old stud out and using an easy out ? Post a pic of that broken bolt please.
  6. That sucks. The head assembly is expensive. https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?mpre=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.com%2Fulk%2Fitm%2F273745953733
  7. Thank you guys.
  8. Awesome! Be sure to get some riding footage and pics to share. We love that kind of thing here!
  9. That's a great review so far. Glad your happy!
  10. Oh yea ! They are like gold! Thats a big score in carburetors. All we hear are how much trouble dialing in the Chinese carbs are and how the engines don't run right. It has a lot of members chasing down non existent problems because they think they have a "new" carburetor so the sputters and bogging must be something else! Nope! Its the aftermarket cheap china carburetors that don't work!
  11. Came from NJ, the seller was looking for way too much. Grabbed it up for $1200 It runs great and everything works. It sat for a while but the gas was turned off and carburetor ran dry. So new battery and fresh gas and it fired up like it was from the dealer. I went through the usual things and cranked it over with my mini jumper, checked compression etc. Im going to take a few things apart and change the oil, make sure its in tip top shape and move it along.
  12. Atta boy! Im excited for you!
  13. So i have a friend at work who was recently diagnosed with a small but very manageable heart problem. He is in good shape but doc says he shouldn't be shoveling snow or anything crazy for a while until they figure this out. So he asked me to see what i can find him to plow since he has a good size piece of property. So i spent the last two weeks scouring the local states to find him a good atv with a plow! Found him a big bear 400 4x4 with a plow for a steal! Going to go through it good and put my touch on it and deliver it next week. As much fun as we have with this quad thing its just as much fun helping others out!
  14. Appreciate it thanks!
  15. I hear ya but i have never been involved in a forum like this. I cruise all around other forums to see whats what and who's who! We are the best! You will not find a better place then this. Print that thing out, thaw the mud, crib em up and lets get busy!
  16. I hear ya brother. Get back into it and get after it.
  17. Lets not talk about other forums LOL just kidding. Im not sure whats in the download section but there has to be something close in there. But overall the basic stuff is pretty straight forward and can be done without the manual for now.
  18. Yes definitely needs to be taken apart. Its not a difficult task. The oil line goes right into the side of the carburetor. If your not familiar with the carburetor rebuild there is topic on it here.
  19. https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?mpre=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.com%2Fulk%2Fitm%2F303308025616
  20. That's a cool little bike. It should be oil injected, a small tank under the seat? The carburetor can easily be cleaned out and compression should be about 90psi . Its a small carb so be gentle.
  21. What make and model are they all?
  22. Ok well i guess its time to start some testing on the stator and usual suspects.
  23. Well that sucks but at least it gives you a little while to get your ducks in a row and locate some possible parts and a plan of attack.
  24. It would have to be internal. Sucks but what else could it be ? Try not to force it and do damage but there is something you missed when putting it all back together is my guess.
  25. Yep those carbs as long as they aren't cracked or stripped they are fine. Check the Letgo app you will find plenty of tires and rims there.
