  1. I see that in your picture. The stator on the bike in question has two yellow wires. It looks like a single phase stator which would only have two wires.
  2. Hey Tahj. What’s the make model year ????
  3. It should work or be close enough to see what’s what.
  4. In order for me to properly see or say what’s going on is to find the diagram for that bike. After I have that it should be a breeze.
  5. Starter clutch has nothing to do with it.
  6. Wow blast from the past seeing that. This is a very addictive hobby. Especially once you hit a really cool trail ride with a ton of ppl. Enjoy it and most of all be careful. Ride safe brother.
  7. Oem $79 ? My personal opinion not that it matters is I would rather a used oem then an aftermarket. That jumper pack is a great addition to the take alongs. It has a USB port for phones as well. There was a topic a while back about what we all keep on our bikes while we are out and about. You should look that topic up it’s super helpful.
  8. That’s a great image @mikeexplorer I only see two yellow wires in his picture. So I’m wondering if it’s a single phase stator.
  9. Bring a small jumper pack. I love mine and it’s saved me countless times. Finding a rectifier may be challenging. The aftermarket ones are not so good. I found one on eBay but you should make a move quickly based on the price. It’s oem as well https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?mpre=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.com%2Fulk%2Fitm%2F223522113944 Arteck Car Jump Starter Auto Battery Charger and 8000mAh External Battery Charger Car Jumper for 12V Automotive, Motorcycle, Tractor, Boat, Phone with Clamps, LED Flashlight, 300A Peak 2.5L Gas Max https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01DVSSCG6/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_UMcqDb0QB1Q33
  10. So right now it starts with the electric starter no problem?
  11. Nothing like riding in the dark. Have you checked your battery and gone over any wiring that could have shorted out? Check all the fuses as well. It could be your regulator or stator coil. But start with the basic stuff first and go from there.
  12. I’m having a hard time locating a clear diagram for you brother. Maybe @Admin can help us out here. Not sure but let’s see.
  13. Can you double check all the colors of the wires. I’m looking for two yellows and one brown ?
  14. Ok the only wires you should be testing are the yellow to yellow and get a reading. Them each yellow to frame. Should get no reading. I have to look at the diagram for the pick up coil wires.
  15. Looks like it’s all in tact. I have a similar problem here when I pick up old bikes are wasp and bees nests under the seat and plastics. Happens a lot. Double check that the float is not cracked and filled with fluid. It’s a bi*** to see but I just came across this problem. I put a flashlight on it and seen the gas inside. If it’s a black float shake it and you will hear it. Of just drop it in a bowl of water. It will barley float.
  16. You shouldn’t get a reading from anyone of three wires coming from the stator to ground. What did you get from wire to wire?
  17. It makes. A huge difference. The stator coil wires. Test all three. Each one to ground with a continuity tester ohms. You should not get a reading from each wire to ground. Second is to test each wire to wire with the tester on the same setting. You should get a similar reading from wire to wire. I will find the diagram and see if I can give you a hand in the mean time.
  18. That’s a one piece cover as far as I knew. Can you post a pic I’m curious about the one on your bike.
  19. That’s great news. How the heck did he get inside there ??
  20. @JacobSlabach !!!! Where you been brother? Any luck selling the warrior and how’s the other bikes doing ?
  21. Looking good so far. See if you can remove the air filter box first. Then try to pull the carb off and bring it down and then try to take the cables off. Maybe a shot in the dark but worth it.
  22. You have to test the stator coil first.
  23. That black and yellow could be an accessory wire. Are you handy with a tester ?
  24. Sweet find. Dirty little mess but it should clean up fine. I can’t really read that vin#. What did you pay ?
  25. Awesome, the aftermarket should be ok.
