  1. Welcome I am from PA also. Were you ever out to mountain ridge, tri county, or rock run?
  2. Here is a little clip of the Mud Club Ride at Tall Pines ATV Park that is airing tonight on the outdoor channel.
  3. This is a great idea! Good luck those are some cool bikes.
  4. Good luck with the swap should not be that hard.
  5. Besides the fuses and other easy stuff, make sure you have power to the ignition wire on the coil (Under the seat) Check the front of the quad right where the steering stem goes down from the pod right around the metal clip for wires that have rubbed thru. This is the easiest place to start. If that doesn't work pull the rear plastics and check for an ignition wire rubbing on the frame right where they come from the fuse box and wrap around the frame to run along the chassis. This is a known problem and the most common fix.
  6. You definately made out! I am sure the guy who bought it will also make out just fine.
  7. On the newer quads there are magnets on the flywheel that tells the quad when to fire. I have seen cases where the bonding agent let loose and the magnets fall off. As a last resort maybe pull the cover off and give them a look, but check the repair manual first to see if your bike is set up the same way.
  8. Welcome to QC!
  9. Why are you replacing the air box? Are you going with the new setup?
  10. The plastics get pulled and the bikes are gone thru every year. Most times I have a project in mind anyways like different clutching or performance mods. I always change my oil in the spring even if I do the overhaul before the winter.
  11. Hang in there! You will be able to ride better if you wait for a full recovery.
  12. How does everyone ride and plow with thier batteries disconnected and put away?
  13. Odyssey ATV Batteries Keeping any battery on a maintainer is key for a long life and full charges inbetween plowing.
  14. I installed a ton of winches, feel free to ask questions on here. The power wires are easy the one you have to be careful of is the 12V ignition tap. Also keep the contactor someplace it will be out of the elements if you can.
  15. The new version has 4 snorkels. One is for the CVT intake, the second is for the CVT exhaust, and the fina; two are for the air intake to the carb. I had to modify the airbox to get dual intakes. If I had to, I can take this thing in over the handlebars.
  16. I bought a construction trailer. It has alot higher ground clearance. When I take the two Bikes or One Bike and SXS I can load them from the tail. I can also fit 2 quads and one SXS easily. I think I can fit four or 5 quads easily if I just side load. The longer trailers handle awsome but I have a hard time fitting into some places. My Trailer is 6.5 X 19 Deck. Just leave a foot or so longer so you can tie down the SXS.
  17. Good luck with the shots. I hope they work!
  18. Check out the kawasaki bayou. If you really get into riding you might be looking for a 500 in a year or two.
  19. I believe burma road is safe. Give me a while to look through all of my GPS tracks and then ask a few locals whats going on.
  20. I don't really want to get into that, but like I said it was just a warning not to take advice on parking spots lightly. If you read about a spot on the net and then you have to drive down a long road to a deserted area where no one can see you just think twice thats all. If it is a popular spot that is safe you will usally see others around.
  21. Yep he is right there are some parking areas where there is constant in and out traffic coupled with those who only ride around where they park. Those are the places to look for. Like I said I will get a few good spots that are proven to be safe and possibly post them on here. I did not post that to scare anyone. RAC has alot of awsome riding. Just so you know that the possibility is out there.
  22. Ya with the sport quad I would stay on trails 10,12 and shoot right up to the railbed via 40. So what parts did you like? They are always looking for constructive feedback.
  23. Just be careful where you park, you might not get ticketed but you will return to a burned out tow vehicle. I will look into a few spots. I don't like giving advice on parking on the forums but if you are really stuck PM me.
